Rainbow of Possibilities

I wasn't sure of what to share tonight until I've read my horoscope for the day. Yes. I read these stuff but not a total believer. I just get so amaze how these things coincide with what is really happening.

Anyway, in less than an hour, 2013 is about to end. Sooo many things have happened this year. A fair share of ups and downs. If there is one word that would sum up this year it would prolly be the word, moved. I have moved out, moved in and moved on. And this is where the rainbow of possibilities came in to the picture.

I have been stressed out with a lot of things but just by being surrounded with my loving family, supportive friends, caring colleagues and even strangers who became new friends in between, made it all bearable and I'm very thankful to God for all of them. I have always been a fan of seeing the rainbow after the rain. But this year taught me that this rainbow is not just an ordinary one, but an array of all the possible things that may happen after a heavy or a not-so heavy rain. I don't need to elaborate that, you guys prolly know what I mean.

Anyway, let me have a huling hirit for 2013 by sharing to you guys what I wore to my lil brother's family day. Yes. Another dramatic transition to an outfit post. (I feel awesome every time I get away with it. Hihi)

I wore this printed corset dress and paired it with my crochet vest. A little glitter and gold won't hurt, so I used my glittered sandals from Forever 21 and the gold lion head pendant necklace to accessorize it. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate my lil brother, for topping their class for the Second Grading Period. So proud of him!

I am keeping this post short since everyone is pretty busy and crazy right now for the Media Noche (I google the spelling).

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Peek-a-Boo

I have always loved cut-outs and silhouettes  with peek-a-boos at the back. ( I'm a sucker for backless ensembles.) But when I have encountered this crop top, the world have suddenly changed. I fell in love with it that I've bought two more colors. I knew it would be perfect for a night out. A subtle exposure of flesh wouldn't hurt. Besides, the long sleeves balances out the lack of fabric of it.

I was supposed to wear this on our office party but I placed my order a bit later than I've expected. But since, there's still a room for a few parties, I reserved it just in case. And I was right when my high school classmates decided to go for a dinner-night out. I knew the top would be perfect. I wasn't sure of what bottom to use though until I've already decided to go with my kitty sneaks.

Top: Ripples by Jenny, Skirt: SM GTW,
Bag: Wbnine Trading and Shoes: Vans x Hello Kitty

Going out with this gang is always a bundle of joy. It's good that this year we already have our reservation. We don't want to end up just like last year when we walked the night away. This year we decided to go to Music box. I was able to showcase the inner concert queen in me. I seriously apologize every time I finish a song. Thank God, for cool friends like them. I haven't heard a single complain. Love you guys!

I came up with this ensemble on a last minute. I was trying out all sort of stuff. Like pairing the top with a high waist denim shorts, a midi skirt then I finally decided to use of my kitty sneaks, I thought of using this skirt of mine. Bought this one months ago from SM Dept. Store under SM GTW brand, Betty, but wasn't able to use it yet. It looked totally awesome with the sneaks on. (I hope so)

Added the 2D bag for a cute factor that goes with my kitty sneaks. Everyone loved it. Got it from Wbnine Trading. I wanted a 2D bag even they boomed with the local bloggers. I saw one sneak peek episode of Kris TV, the one featuring bazaar and online sellers. One of the featured store was Wbnine Trading, for their Philippine made 2D bags. I've got a hold of them on instagram and viola! my Christmas gift bag for myself. What made me extra happy is getting it at a very affordable price and the actual item looks as good as it looks in the picture. Talk about good find!

As for my top, I got them from Ripples by Jenny. Another online shop I found in instagram. They sell trendy items with very affordable price. Almost the same price when you buy it for wholesale in divisoria. Every sassy item has an array of colors to choose from. I got my top in three colors so be ready for the rest of it to be also featured here.

And as I sing the night away, my friends was able to capture epic moments and I wanted to share it to you guys through pictures. (Yes. a lot of them)

Look at that dedicated self there. Lol

With my best guy friend, Darel. He was the photographer for the night.

Kae's turn with a group picture

With Jem, the high scorer of the night.
(Don't worry. We can't believe it either.) Haha. We love you Jem!

Adding this to my own pictures of the year!

Power Ranger (Red) Orange

The most intriguing blog title yet. Hahaha. So we decided to have another themed office party, and we chose to have the colors of the rainbow. We were Disney Princesses last year, but since we already have a guy in the office we chose something appropriate for everyone. So it's colors of the rainbow turned power rangers. Hahahaha. Actually, it's only me who turned it to power rangers. The only show me and my brothers agree on watching when we were still kids.

Back to the party, obviously I was Power Ranger Orange. I wasn't jumping for joy when I got the color since I only have very few orange in my wardrobe. By November, I already have my peg. I was already in search for the perfect crop top and midi skirt.

And this is what I've came up with.

Top and Skirt: Tiangge, Necklace: Mom's,
Belt: SM Kid's Accessories, and Shoes: Primadonna

Seeing how plain midi skirts are despite the bright color, I opted for a printed top, a baroque one. I wore this to the office thus the conservative vibe of the ensemble. Don't worry I have flats with me so I really didn't wore this heels the whole day. I sparkled it all up with the glittered heels, metallic belt and jeweled neck piece.

A closer look to which I owe my added height and sparkliness

A party would never be complete without group pictures with my PTC Family. I am very thankful for having them with me as they aren't just my colleagues but also my family. I love you guys! Cheers to more years of success for our team!

All pictures are taken from Julie's phone except these last two. I had a picture with our friendly neighbor. Hahaha. My LMF Tazz also had a party that same day so we just had to have a picture together.

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Blog giveaway will be posted before the year ends. *wink

All Pink

Yes. The old kikay Bib is back. Noticed I’ve been posting girly girl outfit posts lately which I missed a lot. Been trying to experiment with other styles that would fit me and since, I recently bought a pair of sneakers I try to dress as casual as possible. I was actually planning to wear just jeans and sneaks for our get together with my high school classmates but still depends since I’m still waiting for a pair of heels to arrive before our party. (Drafted this a few days ago, got my new pair of heels today. Teehee)

Back to the sole purpose of this post, I am going to share with you guys what I wore to my brother’s first ever modeling stint. We went all the way to Legaspi for this one so I have to look extra cool. Hahhha. I don’t want to be mistaken as a P.A. so I wore something I’d be able to last the whole day but still looks put together.
Top: GH Tiangge, Skirt: Thrifted,
Belt, Flats and Accessories: SM Dept. Store

If you have read my blog since then, you’ll notice that I’ve already used this top. Yes. It’s my printed peplum top, only I didn’t used it as a peplum top this time. I’ve tucked it in for a change and paired it with this pleated printed skirt. Mom raised her eyebrows and asked me if I was sure to pair the printed top with a printed bottom. I proudly said “Of course Mom, it’s called print on print.” (Hi Mom! Love you.) She’d prolly just laugh this one out after reading it.

And as if I haven’t got enough with an all pink top and bottom, I still used this old rose colored ballet flats. To break the monotony, I used my satchel leather in dark brown and accentuated my waist with a cream colored belt from The SM Store. Also used my acrylic beads set (Necklace and bracelet) from The SM Store, my new pair of eyeglasses to rest my eyes from wearing contacts and braided my hair into a fishtail side braid.

Picture with my lil bro

I cannot believe I was able to get away with this look. I even thought I won’t be able to take a picture of it since we were always in a hurry at Legaspi because the event ended late and we still needed to catch the last trip going home. And the van ride home was horrible, one of my worst van rides ever that I accidentally stepped on somebody and didn’t apologized. Stepping on my foot is a big deal for me, that’s why it’s a-must for me to apologize but this time I was just too furious to get home, I wasn’t even able to get some sleep considering that we woke up at 4 freaking am. Surprisingly, when I got home I now feel better and my brother was even the one who offered to take the pictures (grabbed the opportunity, this seldom happens. Hahah)

I was thinking of Spencer from Pretty Little Liars with this look minus the quirky color palette, that’s my signature. (I think.)

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

"A Place In This World"

If you are a big T. Swift fan, you know exactly what my title is about. I was listening to this while I am typing this post. It just made me realize a lot of things and another year coming to an end and another new year coming our way makes all things around me melodramatic. Yes. Melodramatic is the right term. And since I don't want to spoil all the fun whatever you guys are currently doing. I am going to share this fun colored ensemble I wore to work one Friday. Hahahhaha! (Another new way of transitioning a dramatic post into an outfit one.)

Top:Thrifted, Skirt: SM Dept. Store and Shoes: Primadonna

I have noticed I've been hoarding on body-fitting skirts. Yes. Hoarding, since I haven't used yet a lot of them. But this one is pretty special. It's because of the colored lace side panels of the skirt. It got my attention more since it's in pink and purple. I don't think a girly-girl like me could resist that one.

For this ensemble, I wanted to keep everything office appropriate but still playful. I admire Camille Co for her skills in making two separates look like a one piece. My favorite is her Opulence look. And so I tried my luck for this one. My colleagues actually thought it was a dress, so I think I actually pulled it off.

I used my thrifted white lace tube top. To cover up everything, I used this pale pink blazer of my sister. I was really happy about how I actually decided for this look in just 10 minutes. Ninja moves ftw. Hahah. It usually takes me about an hour or so to finally decide on things I'd wear so I plan them a night before, even a week before that's why I am surprised I finished this one in just minutes. A total record breaker for me.

And of course, my fave pair of nude sandals made it all the more office-appropriate. (I hope so.)

Back to the song, the lyrics " I don't know what I want, so don't ask me 'cause I'm still trying to figure it out." are the words that I was experiencing when I just started working. But now that I've gain experiences (and weight, too. Hahah!) I am now feeling the "Maybe I'm just a girl on a mission, But I'm ready to fly." part.

This song answers everything about actually feeling lost but also realizing in the end what you really want. That, happiness comes in every sizes and shapes. Mine comes in something beyond your imagination. Not giving a hint. Hahaha

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Gold

I am writing this post at exactly 12m.n. on the 11th of December wishing my not-so-little (literally, since he's 3 inches taller than I am) brother Nino a happy birthday! He just turned sixteen. *Cue in music: Tralalala lalala, Happy Birthday sweet Sixteen! LOL.

As I opened silver (Ara's laptop) to write this post I was totally clueless on what to blog about. Thank God for no need to edit photos, I have a blog to post today. There's nothing much to share since I have been really open how stressed I am in my past blog posts. This would be different. I'll be using the direct to the point approach by bringing the spotlight to the ensemble I've used a few months ago.

We wear polo shirts on Friday but since I already need to replace mine I wore a sort-of business attire on work to one Friday which I got approval from our boss. (Yes. I need to mention that here.)

Skirt: Ambershoppe, Belt: SM Accessories,
Necklace: LCC Dept. Store Sandals: Primadonna
I know I've worn this skirt several times already and blogged about it once here, but I can't help to use it all over again. You see, this gold hound's tooth print is a rare find. I was really lucky that I've found such, since it's normally in black. Anyway, I liked to keep the classy touch of the gold print so I've decided to bling it up with also gold accessories; a lion head pendant chain necklace, gold watch and white/gold bangle and use a simple white top.

Also used this open-toe sandals. Overused is an understatement for this. It is definitely my all-time favorite sandals for the year. If I could just wear them to work with our office uniform I've prolly wore it every single day. That's how comfy it is, and how it matches anything, everything.

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Holiday Prep

Hey guys! I am back for a brand new post for the month. I have never felt this productive ever since I graduated from school. I kid! Work and my extra-curricular activities has been stressing me out lately actually (not complaining) and it has finally paid off since I am now starting to lose weight. I know it sounds like a bad thing but you see I've been trying (take note of the word "trying") to lose weight ever since my friends and relatives noticed how my arms and cheeks are about to explode any minute. Hahahah! Also, it's working on my advantage that the holiday is fast approaching. By then, there will be plenty of room for food and unwanted fats. *wink*

And as the Christmas holiday approaches, this is going to be my third year on collecting SB planner stickers. I love how I get away with having sweet treats in the afternoon at least once a week by visiting the coffee shop. I can't wait for mine in magenta. I know a lot already got theirs but I'm in no hurry to skip already to 2014 so I'm taking this nice and slow.

Anyway, I am going to share to you guys what I wore to one of my visits.

Shirt: Dream a Little More, Skirt: H&M, Bag: Dooney&Bourke
Belt: SM Kids' Accessories and Sandals: Forever 21

Wore one of my DLM ( Dream a Little More) shirt from the Potterhead Collection, I paired it with an outdated skater skirt. Hahahha. The waist band just looks weird but it helps that it made the skirt look longer. Then of course I got use of my glittered leather sandals from Forever 21. It added the right amount of sparkliness.

That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Hallow(een) Kitty!

And I'm back for another post. December is coming like in 3 weeks and I haven't bought a thing yet on my list. Total crunch time Christmas shopping again this year so I'm making as many posts as much as I can this month while there's still time. Also planning of throwing a blog giveaway next month so stay updated and tuned in.

Today's post though was taken a week ago and the title might have given you already a clue on what to expect but I'm still asking you the question anyway. What do you guys think of besides Christmas when the year have come to the last week of October? If you answered Halloween, then you are right on track. Though I really did not attended a Halloween party when you're required to wear costumes and stuff. I made it as an excuse to wear something well not that costume-y but beyond my basic limits when it comes to dressing up, on the 1st of November.

Top: SM GTW, Shoes: Crocs

Last year I used a full neon top ensemble with matching neon flats. Yes. It was my first time to conquer my fear with anything neon. This year I've decided to show the kid inside me. If you know me that well, you'll know how big of a fan I am of Hello Kitty. And since crop tops are such a hit this year, I decided to debut this cropped shirt with Hello Kitty's face printed on. What I love about this top is the gothic theme of the shirt. The color schemes used and the rock on kitty face says it all. Also, I love how the length of it is just right that it still looks like a normal shirt. (Or my torso is just that short that crop tops look like an ordinary shirt. Hahahah!)

Back to my outfit, I first paired it with my galaxy printed pants but I just couldn't handle the heat that afternoon that I've switched into my DIY studded denim shorts which I regret, since I ended up with mosquito bites (like a dozen). They're now awful looking marks around my legs. So, I'll prolly keep on wear stockings for work and skip wearing shorts or skirts in a week or two. >_<
Anyway, I also noticed that I got all matchy- matchy since I've also worn my Hello Kitty Crocs flats which also captures the same schemes. Like, they were actually made for each other.

I felt like a rockstar sporting this ensemble. I don't know but I've always pictured female rockstars in crop tops especially that the theme was goth-like. Plus, the studded bottoms also added the rockstar vibe. Hahaha!

I wanted to wear a beaded kitty ears headband but Mom reminded me of my age which I totally forgot at that time. Hahaha! I kid. But Mom really did reminded me. Though I got away by snapping a shot or two with it. Okay. Maybe about five shots (sneaky ninja, haha).  Mom even thought that I was wearing a kid's shirt. (Hi Mom! Love you.)

And since, Mom wasn't that of a fan of my kitty ears headband, I opted to go with the metallic pink one instead. I got it as a gift from Ariane, my colleague. I noticed I wouldn't stand wearing one either so I equipped with me a hair tie. I did not accessorize that much since I'm soo into comfort dressing nowadays. Plus, it was a holiday so expect for big crowds and a lot of walking. ahaha!

That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Blue Team

Tada! And I am back for a new blog post. Hello again to a brand new month! Freaking out na I haven't bought anything yet for Christmas or even made a list. Dundundun!

This one post though is long overdue since it was taken last September pa. Hahahah. That's what you get for not bringing your own camera to take your ootd. Actually, I meant to post this a bit later since I'm going to repeat my striped pants. hehe.

Anyway, let me share to you guys what I've worn to one of my LMFs, Kae, birthday celebration. It was a karaoke dinner party so I've decided to go with something simple but still kept it interesting. I know it's too early for this striped pants to come back (see previous post here) but I just can't help to use and post it again. What made this look interesting? (Well for me) It is the fact that I finally had the guts to actually use it as a high waist pants. Even when I am going to a party that has food written all over it, I braved giving emphasis on one of the most unflattering part of my body. Hhi

Anyway, I think pairing it with the right color was plus points to look all the more put together. Choosing a color of the same family was no surprise though, in my case. So to break the monotony, I used my overused open toe nude sandals from Primadonna. Don't worry, I'll give my other babies (shoes) a chance to shine in my upcoming blog posts.

I was afraid I'd look like I got out straight from a time machine from the 70's if I've worn an oversized stack of bangles. So, I opted for the acrylic bead necklace from SM Accessories and a black strap Casio watch instead. I don't want to get lost in translation and make the ensemble look costume-y.

This striped pants from Shopaholic under the SM GTW brand is really one of my comfiest pairs so I danced the night away. Kidding! I actually sat the whole time catching up with friends since I've missed quite a lot after missing dinner outs with them last month. You see, I have been a very good girl lately. Or so I thought I was. I wasn't exaggerating on the comfiest pants though. I've had this old navy button up shirt since college and it works it's miracle every time I want them to.

And since this was a party I wouldn't waste the opportunity to share to you guys pictures from that night. Thanks to Kae for allowing me to grab a few snapshots from her. I now leave you guys with a few of it, scroll away.

Ending this post with a picture with the birthday girl, Kae. So, you guys might have guessed why choose Blue Team as the title for this post. That last picture answers it for you.

That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Color Block

Yesterday morning, on a jeepney ride, when I was supposed to be freaking out that I'd be late again for work (Yes. This is a first. I never get late twice in a month and the month hasn't even ended yet. *crossing my fingers), I caught myself daydreaming. It seems to be the only escape from all the stress I'm getting, besides from reading and writing/sharing/blogging. Because even in my sleep I'm haunted with the things I have been worrying about which I'm too embarrassed to share here. hhi

The past few weeks have been really stressful for me. It seems that I 'm always too tired but can't sleep early, which makes me wake up late than the usual, hurry to get ready ending up to forget things and worst getting to work late. I was never the good old Miss Punctual type but I dread coming late. I don't like making people wait for me, and vice versa. That's the big lesson I learned from all the group project meetings I had when I was still in school 'cause you'll end up with zero output. Being on time was no trouble for me until now. What's worrying me the most is that it might grew on me and I just can't allow that to happen ever. Also, I can't seem to find the root of all this, and the bipolar weather is making it twice as stressful. *sigh

With all the things I have been blabbering above, it has all come to this, an outfit post. *Insert laughing self here.

I know, I know. It has nothing to do whatsoever with me being all stressed-out. Although, it (dressing up) has been a way for me to cope up with it. I just needed an outlet for all these. I know the 140 characters limit of twitter and over a hundred unknown friends in facebook won't be able to handle all the drama. Just think of this post as a selfie with an inspirational quote as a caption that has nothing to do whatsoever with the picture that we deal with everyday. Hahahha!

Anyway, besides from the thing that I am caught up with lately, I also want to share to you guys what I wore to a weekend short visit to my Aunt and Popsi and also my grandparents.

Top: Alixandre, Shorts: Local Dept. Store, Shoes: SM Dept. Store

I wore this hot pink loose top that I have for a while now. Decided to color block by accessorizing the top with aqua blue (bag and necklace). I usually pair this top with jeans but since I seldom get to wear a pair of shorts, I opted to go with it. I picked my high waist buttoned shorts in white to balance out the color. Then, got my aztec printed flats from Solemate out for a walk. Missed my nude sandals? You'll see them back soon.

I do hope I didn't wasted the last two minutes of spending time reading my blog. That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you guys think? I wanna hear from you by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Free Day

One of the best things about the Philippines are the national holidays observed. It's not only to give way for the celebration but it is also a time for people who works/ studies five times a week to take a break from all the stress and all other things that comes with it on a supposed to be working day. Times like this, I usually stay at home to catch up on sleep, TV series and do chores.

Last Tuesday was an exception though. I've done quite a few errands with Mom for an upcoming big event for our family in a few months. We're all excited. I can't wait to blog about it. Anyway, since I knew it was going to be a long day of walking and waiting, I wore something really comfy but not sloppy. (I hope.)

Top: Local Dept. Store, Jeans: Thrifted, Necklace: Forever 21
Bag: Mango and Sandals: Forever 21

I was really excited to use this new Mango purse I got from Ate Monica. And finally was able to! I got this bad habit of bringing a lot of stuff with me everywhere thus carrying large shoulder bags which explains why I have a really bad posture. Talk about using the word "bad" twice in a sentence. Anyway, this purse is a miracle. I actually got my ginormous wallet, phone and a few other trinkets fit all in. Amazeballs. So heads up 'cause I'll be using it a lot and you might see it here like a tons of times.

I've prolly used this top tons of times but realized I haven't blog about it. Hhi. Also, noticed that this is actually my first post for the month so I'm giving you guys a bonus and will post more in the coming weekends. We got really busy since my brother who's based in Singapore went home two weeks ago with his girlfriend. Also, my nephew joined the party and spent a weekend with us. Then, catch up some more with chores.

Anyway, my tip for a free day to be spent with doing errands is to wear easy, breathable clothes. You'll never know how long you're gonna wait, how far you'll walk. Unless, you're in a schedule where the offices and persons you're going to meet are always on time that's not going to be a problem. Although being ready always won't hurt.

That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you guys think? I wanna hear from you by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.
