Rainbow of Possibilities

I wasn't sure of what to share tonight until I've read my horoscope for the day. Yes. I read these stuff but not a total believer. I just get so amaze how these things coincide with what is really happening.

Anyway, in less than an hour, 2013 is about to end. Sooo many things have happened this year. A fair share of ups and downs. If there is one word that would sum up this year it would prolly be the word, moved. I have moved out, moved in and moved on. And this is where the rainbow of possibilities came in to the picture.

I have been stressed out with a lot of things but just by being surrounded with my loving family, supportive friends, caring colleagues and even strangers who became new friends in between, made it all bearable and I'm very thankful to God for all of them. I have always been a fan of seeing the rainbow after the rain. But this year taught me that this rainbow is not just an ordinary one, but an array of all the possible things that may happen after a heavy or a not-so heavy rain. I don't need to elaborate that, you guys prolly know what I mean.

Anyway, let me have a huling hirit for 2013 by sharing to you guys what I wore to my lil brother's family day. Yes. Another dramatic transition to an outfit post. (I feel awesome every time I get away with it. Hihi)

I wore this printed corset dress and paired it with my crochet vest. A little glitter and gold won't hurt, so I used my glittered sandals from Forever 21 and the gold lion head pendant necklace to accessorize it. I would also like to take this opportunity to congratulate my lil brother, for topping their class for the Second Grading Period. So proud of him!

I am keeping this post short since everyone is pretty busy and crazy right now for the Media Noche (I google the spelling).

Wishing everyone a very Happy New Year!

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Peek-a-Boo

I have always loved cut-outs and silhouettes  with peek-a-boos at the back. ( I'm a sucker for backless ensembles.) But when I have encountered this crop top, the world have suddenly changed. I fell in love with it that I've bought two more colors. I knew it would be perfect for a night out. A subtle exposure of flesh wouldn't hurt. Besides, the long sleeves balances out the lack of fabric of it.

I was supposed to wear this on our office party but I placed my order a bit later than I've expected. But since, there's still a room for a few parties, I reserved it just in case. And I was right when my high school classmates decided to go for a dinner-night out. I knew the top would be perfect. I wasn't sure of what bottom to use though until I've already decided to go with my kitty sneaks.

Top: Ripples by Jenny, Skirt: SM GTW,
Bag: Wbnine Trading and Shoes: Vans x Hello Kitty

Going out with this gang is always a bundle of joy. It's good that this year we already have our reservation. We don't want to end up just like last year when we walked the night away. This year we decided to go to Music box. I was able to showcase the inner concert queen in me. I seriously apologize every time I finish a song. Thank God, for cool friends like them. I haven't heard a single complain. Love you guys!

I came up with this ensemble on a last minute. I was trying out all sort of stuff. Like pairing the top with a high waist denim shorts, a midi skirt then I finally decided to use of my kitty sneaks, I thought of using this skirt of mine. Bought this one months ago from SM Dept. Store under SM GTW brand, Betty, but wasn't able to use it yet. It looked totally awesome with the sneaks on. (I hope so)

Added the 2D bag for a cute factor that goes with my kitty sneaks. Everyone loved it. Got it from Wbnine Trading. I wanted a 2D bag even they boomed with the local bloggers. I saw one sneak peek episode of Kris TV, the one featuring bazaar and online sellers. One of the featured store was Wbnine Trading, for their Philippine made 2D bags. I've got a hold of them on instagram and viola! my Christmas gift bag for myself. What made me extra happy is getting it at a very affordable price and the actual item looks as good as it looks in the picture. Talk about good find!

As for my top, I got them from Ripples by Jenny. Another online shop I found in instagram. They sell trendy items with very affordable price. Almost the same price when you buy it for wholesale in divisoria. Every sassy item has an array of colors to choose from. I got my top in three colors so be ready for the rest of it to be also featured here.

And as I sing the night away, my friends was able to capture epic moments and I wanted to share it to you guys through pictures. (Yes. a lot of them)

Look at that dedicated self there. Lol

With my best guy friend, Darel. He was the photographer for the night.

With Jem, the high scorer of the night.
(Don't worry. We can't believe it either.) Haha. We love you Jem!

Power Ranger (Red) Orange

The most intriguing blog title yet. Hahaha. So we decided to have another themed office party, and we chose to have the colors of the rainbow. We were Disney Princesses last year, but since we already have a guy in the office we chose something appropriate for everyone. So it's colors of the rainbow turned power rangers. Hahahaha. Actually, it's only me who turned it to power rangers. The only show me and my brothers agree on watching when we were still kids.

Back to the party, obviously I was Power Ranger Orange. I wasn't jumping for joy when I got the color since I only have very few orange in my wardrobe. By November, I already have my peg. I was already in search for the perfect crop top and midi skirt.

And this is what I've came up with.

Top and Skirt: Tiangge, Necklace: Mom's,
Belt: SM Kid's Accessories, and Shoes: Primadonna

Seeing how plain midi skirts are despite the bright color, I opted for a printed top, a baroque one. I wore this to the office thus the conservative vibe of the ensemble. Don't worry I have flats with me so I really didn't wore this heels the whole day. I sparkled it all up with the glittered heels, metallic belt and jeweled neck piece.

A closer look to which I owe my added height and sparkliness

A party would never be complete without group pictures with my PTC Family. I am very thankful for having them with me as they aren't just my colleagues but also my family. I love you guys! Cheers to more years of success for our team!

All pictures are taken from Julie's phone except these last two. I had a picture with our friendly neighbor. Hahaha. My LMF Tazz also had a party that same day so we just had to have a picture together.

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Merry Christmas everyone!
Blog giveaway will be posted before the year ends. *wink

All Pink

Yes. The old kikay Bib is back. Noticed I’ve been posting girly girl outfit posts lately which I missed a lot. Been trying to experiment with other styles that would fit me and since, I recently bought a pair of sneakers I try to dress as casual as possible. I was actually planning to wear just jeans and sneaks for our get together with my high school classmates but still depends since I’m still waiting for a pair of heels to arrive before our party. (Drafted this a few days ago, got my new pair of heels today. Teehee)

Back to the sole purpose of this post, I am going to share with you guys what I wore to my brother’s first ever modeling stint. We went all the way to Legaspi for this one so I have to look extra cool. Hahhha. I don’t want to be mistaken as a P.A. so I wore something I’d be able to last the whole day but still looks put together.
Top: GH Tiangge, Skirt: Thrifted,
Belt, Flats and Accessories: SM Dept. Store

If you have read my blog since then, you’ll notice that I’ve already used this top. Yes. It’s my printed peplum top, only I didn’t used it as a peplum top this time. I’ve tucked it in for a change and paired it with this pleated printed skirt. Mom raised her eyebrows and asked me if I was sure to pair the printed top with a printed bottom. I proudly said “Of course Mom, it’s called print on print.” (Hi Mom! Love you.) She’d prolly just laugh this one out after reading it.

And as if I haven’t got enough with an all pink top and bottom, I still used this old rose colored ballet flats. To break the monotony, I used my satchel leather in dark brown and accentuated my waist with a cream colored belt from The SM Store. Also used my acrylic beads set (Necklace and bracelet) from The SM Store, my new pair of eyeglasses to rest my eyes from wearing contacts and braided my hair into a fishtail side braid.

Picture with my lil bro

I cannot believe I was able to get away with this look. I even thought I won’t be able to take a picture of it since we were always in a hurry at Legaspi because the event ended late and we still needed to catch the last trip going home. And the van ride home was horrible, one of my worst van rides ever that I accidentally stepped on somebody and didn’t apologized. Stepping on my foot is a big deal for me, that’s why it’s a-must for me to apologize but this time I was just too furious to get home, I wasn’t even able to get some sleep considering that we woke up at 4 freaking am. Surprisingly, when I got home I now feel better and my brother was even the one who offered to take the pictures (grabbed the opportunity, this seldom happens. Hahah)

I was thinking of Spencer from Pretty Little Liars with this look minus the quirky color palette, that’s my signature. (I think.)

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

"A Place In This World"

If you are a big T. Swift fan, you know exactly what my title is about. I was listening to this while I am typing this post. It just made me realize a lot of things and another year coming to an end and another new year coming our way makes all things around me melodramatic. Yes. Melodramatic is the right term. And since I don't want to spoil all the fun whatever you guys are currently doing. I am going to share this fun colored ensemble I wore to work one Friday. Hahahhaha! (Another new way of transitioning a dramatic post into an outfit one.)

Top:Thrifted, Skirt: SM Dept. Store and Shoes: Primadonna

I have noticed I've been hoarding on body-fitting skirts. Yes. Hoarding, since I haven't used yet a lot of them. But this one is pretty special. It's because of the colored lace side panels of the skirt. It got my attention more since it's in pink and purple. I don't think a girly-girl like me could resist that one.

For this ensemble, I wanted to keep everything office appropriate but still playful. I admire Camille Co for her skills in making two separates look like a one piece. My favorite is her Opulence look. And so I tried my luck for this one. My colleagues actually thought it was a dress, so I think I actually pulled it off.

I used my thrifted white lace tube top. To cover up everything, I used this pale pink blazer of my sister. I was really happy about how I actually decided for this look in just 10 minutes. Ninja moves ftw. Hahah. It usually takes me about an hour or so to finally decide on things I'd wear so I plan them a night before, even a week before that's why I am surprised I finished this one in just minutes. A total record breaker for me.

And of course, my fave pair of nude sandals made it all the more office-appropriate. (I hope so.)

Back to the song, the lyrics " I don't know what I want, so don't ask me 'cause I'm still trying to figure it out." are the words that I was experiencing when I just started working. But now that I've gain experiences (and weight, too. Hahah!) I am now feeling the "Maybe I'm just a girl on a mission, But I'm ready to fly." part.

This song answers everything about actually feeling lost but also realizing in the end what you really want. That, happiness comes in every sizes and shapes. Mine comes in something beyond your imagination. Not giving a hint. Hahaha

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Gold

I am writing this post at exactly 12m.n. on the 11th of December wishing my not-so-little (literally, since he's 3 inches taller than I am) brother Nino a happy birthday! He just turned sixteen. *Cue in music: Tralalala lalala, Happy Birthday sweet Sixteen! LOL.

As I opened silver (Ara's laptop) to write this post I was totally clueless on what to blog about. Thank God for no need to edit photos, I have a blog to post today. There's nothing much to share since I have been really open how stressed I am in my past blog posts. This would be different. I'll be using the direct to the point approach by bringing the spotlight to the ensemble I've used a few months ago.

We wear polo shirts on Friday but since I already need to replace mine I wore a sort-of business attire on work to one Friday which I got approval from our boss. (Yes. I need to mention that here.)

Skirt: Ambershoppe, Belt: SM Accessories,
Necklace: LCC Dept. Store Sandals: Primadonna
I know I've worn this skirt several times already and blogged about it once here, but I can't help to use it all over again. You see, this gold hound's tooth print is a rare find. I was really lucky that I've found such, since it's normally in black. Anyway, I liked to keep the classy touch of the gold print so I've decided to bling it up with also gold accessories; a lion head pendant chain necklace, gold watch and white/gold bangle and use a simple white top.

Also used this open-toe sandals. Overused is an understatement for this. It is definitely my all-time favorite sandals for the year. If I could just wear them to work with our office uniform I've prolly wore it every single day. That's how comfy it is, and how it matches anything, everything.

That is all for this post. I hope you enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.

Holiday Prep

Hey guys! I am back for a brand new post for the month. I have never felt this productive ever since I graduated from school. I kid! Work and my extra-curricular activities has been stressing me out lately actually (not complaining) and it has finally paid off since I am now starting to lose weight. I know it sounds like a bad thing but you see I've been trying (take note of the word "trying") to lose weight ever since my friends and relatives noticed how my arms and cheeks are about to explode any minute. Hahahah! Also, it's working on my advantage that the holiday is fast approaching. By then, there will be plenty of room for food and unwanted fats. *wink*

And as the Christmas holiday approaches, this is going to be my third year on collecting SB planner stickers. I love how I get away with having sweet treats in the afternoon at least once a week by visiting the coffee shop. I can't wait for mine in magenta. I know a lot already got theirs but I'm in no hurry to skip already to 2014 so I'm taking this nice and slow.

Anyway, I am going to share to you guys what I wore to one of my visits.

Shirt: Dream a Little More, Skirt: H&M, Bag: Dooney&Bourke
Belt: SM Kids' Accessories and Sandals: Forever 21

Wore one of my DLM ( Dream a Little More) shirt from the Potterhead Collection, I paired it with an outdated skater skirt. Hahahha. The waist band just looks weird but it helps that it made the skirt look longer. Then of course I got use of my glittered leather sandals from Forever 21. It added the right amount of sparkliness.

That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it. What do you think? I wanna hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Also, don't forget to hype my look here.
