Playing with Textures

Top: Koreana Shop, Skirt: Pretty Witty Stuff, and Flats: Tomato

I find it a challenge to combine and play along with prints and textures. It is out of my comfort zone because I tend to match things up the wrong way but I think I might have aced it in this ensemble. Other ladies may say diamonds or glitters are their best friend when it comes to the shining-shimmering-peg but not to me. I will forever be loyal to sequins.

This is what I actually wore last Friday which was my birthday. (Thanks to everyone who remembered and am touched to those who personally greeted me. xo ^_^ ) I went to school right after work to see my lil brother in his prom suit.

Back to my outfit, I always wanted to own a tribal print skirt and the search was over when I came across Pretty Witty Stuff's birthday sale last weekend. Talk about totally meant for me :D I paired it with this sequined top I haven't used yet which I got from Koreana Shop a month ago. Then, I stick to color orange as the main color for my accessories which looks incredibly good with the top and skirt all together.

And now, I leave you guys with pictures I've had with my brother and his friends.

Moments like this made me say: "They grow up so fast and taller than me too -_____- "

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I want to hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below.

Floral Kitty

DIY Cat Ears Headband, Necklace: Trendphile, Bangles: F2M,
Top: Alixandre, Shorts: Pink Apple, Shoes: SM Parisian

Weekends never fail to give the sunshine I haven't been seeing during weekdays because for one, I work indoors and two, the weather is most of the time gloomy because of the tropical depression way down south.   But surprisingly, have you guys noticed that it is always sunny during weekends? The sun always gives me the energy to dress up and to inject summer colors to an ensemble. Anyway, this was taken last Sunday before we left home for mall. Mom and my lil brother accompanied me with my grocery shopping for my party.

DIY Cat Ears Headband by yours truly

Ahhh. Yess. The story behind the oh-so-adorable Cat Ears Headband. I've been wanting to have one since I saw Tricia Gosingtian wore something like it which was months ago. And it lately went viral with bloggers with Anagon Collection releasing it as part of their latest collection or just so happened that the new music video of my fave Girls Generation (SNSD) includes Jessica wearing one.

I actually watched and read a couple of youtube and blog tutorials which made me want to make a few for my friends and give them away for my party. I was hesitant at first since it seems to have this halloween-ish vibe but my friends and the kids at the party love it. Not the thing you'd wear everyday for school and most especially at work but it really does look soo adorable.

I went all the way girly for this outfit (Kelan pa ba hindi? lol). Pink is without a doubt my fave color and combining them with other pastel colors and a punch of neon made it look more fun which is perfect for a sunny weather. The high waist denim shorts also gave this balance.

I hope you guys enjoyed this post. I want to hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Philippines is a democratic country so I am giving you guys the free will.lol

Sparkly Shoes

Dress: Desino Dulce, Belt: SM Accessories and Shoes: Primadonna

It was a perfect Sunday to spend with family because of the overly wonderful weather. And when there's that scorching sun, it actually gives me this signal that it is most definitely the best to take an outdoor outfit shot or shots mostly in my case ;) . So I took the chance even if risking myself in uv rays exposure. hehehe. Just kidding I love being under the sun. This is just a very rare opportunity for me.

I am actually wearing a few additions to my wardrobe. This dress just came in Saturday afternoon and I just hopped into it the next day. It's such a pretty dress. I fell in love with it instantly. The online store I bought it from is called Desino Dulce. They make this trendy designs of dresses and make it alive that is actually sold for MTO. That's right, I am really into stores that do MTOs. With this dress, I was actually asked to choose the textile for it, for others you could specify or switch colors depending on the availability. It is one pretty amazing online shop that actually cares and give what customers want. (I'm one of them and am one happy bee for discovering this shop.) And I am also wearing my supposed to be "Birthday shoes" but I just couldn't wait. This glitter oxfords from Primadonna actually is my very first purchase for the year 2013. I've been waiting for something like this far long enough so grabbed the opportunity right away as soon as I got the right shoe size. I am so thrilled to get a pair of my obsessions which is actually sparkly stuff that I have to name this blog with it.

Behold the too important shoes that I dedicate this blog entry for

Speaking of the "Birthday shoes" I said earlier, February is actually my birth month so expect for a couple of neat stuff to be given away in the coming weeks. And I also will be dedicating a blog for the preparations and the party itself. I am pretty much excited since it is actually my first time to throw myself a themed party. I am pretty stressed out with the limited budget but hey, fun and joy isn't spelled with a peso sign. Haha

Anyway, I hope you guys enjoy this post. I want to hear from you guys by leaving comment(s) below. Philippines is a democratic country so I am giving you guys the free will.
