I currently gave birth to our second child, who is now a few months old. It was pretty unexpected. My husband and I never planned it, so we got surprised as well. This second one was pretty hard for me. I've gone through morning sickness, and extreme abdominal pains during my first trimester that I never experienced with my first born. I always feel overwhelmed with my thoughts which is why making blog posts will keep my mind at ease, giving credits to the hormones overload. Also this pandemic is giving me some idle time from work.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">Now that I am through my second pregnancy, I took notes on the Do's and Don'ts that helped me with this journey.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">First on my list is to stay healthy. I made sure to stick to healthier options for my food intake, to take religiously and carefully my prescribed vitamins. Healthier options for me means staying away from junk foods, foods with too much preservatives, sweets, and anything that won't help pregnant moms and our baby's nutrition. I also skipped my daily morning habit of a cup of coffee. I make sure not to skip my vitamins intake since it greatly helps with the development of the baby and also the changing body of the mom. I also made some research about when is the best time to take vitamins. Like Calcium is best taken twice a day, after having breakfast and dinner, it can be taken with Folic Acid. There are also multivitamins that must be taken an hour before meal or two hours after meal. If you want to get your facts or articles checked, make sure to ask your Doctors. Google helps a lot but it is always best to ask your Doctor. </p><p style="text-align: justify;"></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Second, to make a list of things you need to buy.
As much as possible since it is my second baby and my first born is now four
years old, I try to trim the list down by looking for options for the best-buy.
Learning from my first pregnancy that I need not to buy anything I see on the
shelf of the baby section, I will make sure not to buy a repeat mishap and buy
the things I didn’t bought that I actually needed. Especially now that there is
an invisible enemy around, as a mom we get to be extra protective of our
children. I used to have a steam sterilizer but now I will invest on a UV sterilizer
that will allow me to sterilize practically anything my children lay their
hands on. I got my UV sterilizer from Babybee. I got the UV+ Dual Lamp Sterilizer. It has four functions; automatic, drying, UV and storage. It has dual lamp and HEPA filter. This is one of my best buys for this journey of mine. It is affordable compared to Korean brands that has the same functions.</p><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://babybee.com.ph/product/babybee-uv-plus-sterilizer/" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="511" data-original-width="575" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi3iHRW62IGvb0r772PGEzCl-UzAhzweDDwsK4IhUVY1B5oEW0Xh5SH0SeB-H1-TX7Bhn-2wkdiOw4h_KxjJcU398_uQrOeKTVJQA9_zgditiU9sFjIhqozaHBRjW8tl0ktQJ3QVl3U2pM/s320/uv+baby+bee.jpg" width="320" /></a></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Babybee UV+ Dual Lamp Sterilizer<br />(Photo sourced from link of photo)</td></tr></tbody></table><p style="text-align: justify;"><br /></p><p style="text-align: justify;">I am still weighing about getting an air purifier and a germicidal
lamp that will help in sanitizing our room but since it is quite costly, it
will probably be my least priority considering that I still need to buy a few
more things for my lil one. I am also listing down things needed for the
post-partum recovery of the Mom. My husband failed completing my list last pregnancy, since he
was tasked to do it without my help while I was already out of the hospital
recovering. So, it is kind of a must for me to complete my list ahead of time, way ahead. *wink*</p><p style="text-align: justify;"> <o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;">Third, I tried harder to prepare for
breastfeeding. I admit that it was something I took for granted on my first
pregnancy. It wasn’t as easy as I thought it would be. This time I took it on a next level not to fail my baby. I am currently on Natalac supplements since my 8th month. Before I gave birth I was on a twice a day dose, right now I only take twice a day whenever my supply is low, but on a daily basis I take one capsule after breakfast. Also, Nestle's MommaLove drink is such a big help. This is tried and tested. I am currently in my fourth month of breastfeeding, and we've been on mix feeding ever since. I did not expect for my milk supply to last this long since, in order for moms to lactate, they need to be stimulated by latching. So, I was really surprise that I still have a supply of breastmilk. Whenever I feel like my baby doesn't get enough milk from breastfeeding, I drink Nestle's MommaLove, sprinkled with chia seeds on top. Since it is really effective for me, I already included MommaLove drink thrice a week in my Momma diet. I only latch my baby early in the morning before I go to work and at night time when I come home and so far, he is quite satisfied with his breastmilk. I also tried to hydrate myself more to help.<o:p></o:p></p><p style="text-align: justify;"><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><span style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><a href="https://www.natalacbreastfeeding.com/" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="457" data-original-width="1000" height="178" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs-GW9VsfQ2KrCjeUZSxy2kFbz1jv2DkGJs48KHZdxUMP83D9uF-JTm6NwJ8V8S5oq5t6vKBDlxaFNjcJOkIeNamE_hND_-wteApolNtuO923qwir3TwxFtqz5VLVUi2upXhJ5Ipef2_I/w391-h178/natalac_products.jpg" width="391" /></a></span></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.natalacbreastfeeding.com/" target="_blank">Currently using the Natalac Capsule on the left<br />(Photo sourced from link of photo)</a></td></tr></tbody></table><br /><br /><br /></p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br /></div><p></p><table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><tbody><tr><td style="text-align: center;"><span style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/nestlemommalove/?__xts__[0]=68.ARBZEupBkYW7v0jYztHYd0T1nm1qnYiP0sm5NToiioDs8agbjp1Q44KQ8AO21jQBq61PMbVs5RzBY14cQaWm8FPIsbrIaJACl134U2oGoNqZIb41XICgoUFxdvk77JJ4COXwwgBqJDCU_dVPQ0ds3P8FfyUGhy0YTL5BukeVtkYBnofwx3G2xJ62CPkCcaAYOsBvuoQ3w6kOJOCHy7pdpUJilyIepiZPYbRLFp-s492SbCGgzo75RHVYEkAb_i-5HO1XKOF3ipEAAOSEZk1xESr7UuzXYFrdK82OkjgrGyeQB24-cE6Znu3nqIF1-s7TmdnTyLBxvxjR5SJ4Fg55_ZCdqAvwZbRkkyGuzolwYzr3Obpd_7fMBh09GH3A0YD3w7pZSw" target="_blank"><img border="0" data-original-height="320" data-original-width="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEggmn9L_INwfGrr_XnQ-2B-YSTj3sh-ZYcWDHjgFSQoKNK3wYiAhG7IsyCEHHBML4wPRD-3IRpNRoEVmZeYYUCyL8pnt-gu-wMBx4iPbqx9mc2ZXYYpvAQAcStBhikh3AuCPwYLCdIxDmE/s0/nestle+mommalove.jpg" /></a></span></td></tr><tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://www.facebook.com/nestlemommalove/?__xts__[0]=68.ARBZEupBkYW7v0jYztHYd0T1nm1qnYiP0sm5NToiioDs8agbjp1Q44KQ8AO21jQBq61PMbVs5RzBY14cQaWm8FPIsbrIaJACl134U2oGoNqZIb41XICgoUFxdvk77JJ4COXwwgBqJDCU_dVPQ0ds3P8FfyUGhy0YTL5BukeVtkYBnofwx3G2xJ62CPkCcaAYOsBvuoQ3w6kOJOCHy7pdpUJilyIepiZPYbRLFp-s492SbCGgzo75RHVYEkAb_i-5HO1XKOF3ipEAAOSEZk1xESr7UuzXYFrdK82OkjgrGyeQB24-cE6Znu3nqIF1-s7TmdnTyLBxvxjR5SJ4Fg55_ZCdqAvwZbRkkyGuzolwYzr3Obpd_7fMBh09GH3A0YD3w7pZSw" target="_blank">They have two flavors, but I am Choco-biased<br />(Photo sourced from link of photo)</a></td></tr></tbody></table><br />
<p style="text-align: justify;">Fourth, as we go nearer and nearer to meet our
lil’ bundle of joy, I already prepared our baby bag ahead of time. I had it ready on my 30th week. By that time
you probably have completed your list of necessary things to buy. We started washing all the baby clothes, blankets, linens, towels and feeding bottles early on.
Sterilize your bottles and secure it by putting it in a proper storage. After
washing the clothes and everything else, you may use your UV sterilizer or if
you still don’t have one, get it all ironed. The heat of the iron makes the
clothes and linens sort of sterilized so it is now safe for your baby to put
on. Do exclude printed ones since it might get ruined. Proper washing also
means using the right kind of detergent, fabric conditioner and dishwashing
soap. There are a lot of brands out there in the market that caters
specifically for the baby’s needs which makes us moms at ease since we need not
to worry allergic reactions from our babies. Also, it is not just preparing for
the baby’s bag but also for the mom’s as well. Make sure you also made a list
so you will not forget a thing. A set of clothes for the mom at the hospital
for a couple of days and for leaving the hospital, beddings for extra comfort,
toiletries, disposable utensils, glass and plates is on my list. You also need
to make sure to bring all your necessary identification cards like, Philhealth
ID, Medical card, and any government IDs. Make sure your husband or your
guardian knows the PIN of your ATM cards for emergency cash needs. I also kept a journal where I put necessary information that my husband should know and
might be needed like savings account number, social security number, etc. I also brought with me this time my own set of surgical masks, gloves, thermal scanner,
alcohol, wet antibacterial wipes, and disinfectant spray. I also prepared a
bag for my four year old since I let my mom and siblings take care
of her while we were still at the hospital.<o:p></o:p></p>
<p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>Lastly, I tried to prepare myself spiritually, mentally and emotionally for the big day. Everything went
well during my first pregnancy. It was such a different experience from my first one, I was so stressed out that a few days before my baby came out, I was on false labor. So, I tried so hard to induce my labor by exercising. I found this really effective exercise video online that helped me a lot. I did the exercise in the morning, and I already had contractions in the afternoon, then the next day I already gave birth But make sure to get it checked with your doctor, better to be safe than sorry.</p><p style="text-align: justify;">It helps that you talk about these things with your husband on what you
feel and want to happen on the big day. By this, it will be easier for him to
decide for both of you.<o:p></o:p></p><p style="text-align: justify;">Leaving this chunky baby feet we all want to make gigil with. </p><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvG8eiKXE9YmK5pg_7FNApBlw3cYRhGWWKI6RtA-ZrKO-32NUgPYn6Tm3fA2dceq5CgdrRIyj5VlapNTGjST2BsRU34Y8Ut4twiK_sTDEZM_LcwZKIYiewg5l9p5HoKFGQJf8z-NpJ3B4/s2048/IMG_6216.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="2048" data-original-width="1536" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhvG8eiKXE9YmK5pg_7FNApBlw3cYRhGWWKI6RtA-ZrKO-32NUgPYn6Tm3fA2dceq5CgdrRIyj5VlapNTGjST2BsRU34Y8Ut4twiK_sTDEZM_LcwZKIYiewg5l9p5HoKFGQJf8z-NpJ3B4/w300-h400/IMG_6216.JPG" width="300" /></a></div><br /><p style="text-align: justify;"><span style="text-align: left;">That's all for this post. I have always been caught with trends, no matter how fast or long they go. Somehow I learned to love a few trends that is still included in my staple wears. Until now, I still love wearing skinny jeans, statement necklaces, even when they are now far off different from today's new trends. The fashion scene always brings back trends from different cycles and generation. And I am so glad they're bringing back trends from my childhood. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Like any other kikay out there, I never leave the house not wearing a headband, hair clip or hair tie. My hairstyle always sported something different every day, our helper then made sure of that. Ever since then the fashion enthusiast in me somehow sparked. My sister and I then would get hold of the newest, kikay-est hair accessories to wear to school. We've sported satin ribbons used as headbands or hair ties, small hair clams in every color, feathered headbands, ridiculously huge bows headbands, and dainty hair clips. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I made sure not to look boring in school uniform. Hair accessories and bags then will always be the fashion talk about at school if you're sporting something really nice or extremely weird. My sister and I didn't care then, we were kids and we loved wearing them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am so happy that the 90's hair clips and barettes are making a comeback. Yassss! I am overjoyed that I literally bought every clips and sets I see online that I wanted. That made me want to open, Le Petit Reine by Vivienne Jean.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Le Petit Reine is a french phrase that means the little queen. The inspiration of the name of the shop is my daughter. And at a young age I want her to look put together as much as possible since she's a reflection of me as a parent and her mom. I chose the little queen since our hair is our crowning glory, and I consider hair accessorizing a thing to make us feel different, above among others and I thought sounding to look regal is almost the same as being royal in our own little ways. Also, I translated it into French since it sounds way fancier. (Thanks to my daughter who loves watching"Fancy Nancy Clancy")</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We've recently launched three collections; Pearls and Gems, Rainbow Dream and Four Seasons. Each collection is actually composed of coveted pieces and sets I found online that are not yet readily available locally in the province. I actually chose pretty unique items and made sure that I'd be one of the firsts to have it available in Naga City, Camarines Sur.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am glad and very passionate about this since I love collecting them and love the idea of sharing it to everyone with a profit. Hahahha! Sharing is caring but I don't get them for free but made them really affordable for everyone. Our items are priced from Php. 50.xx to Php. 150.xx at a maximum. I am actually pretty shocked how expensive these are in the metro, they actually range at Php. 80.xx to Php. 150.xx at a minimum and you still need to add up for the shipping fee if they are not based on the same area. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Pearls and Gems are all about the dainty stuff. Obviously pearls, rare stones and gems that our combined with delicate hair clips to even out or balance the whole look. You can mix and match them with simple bobby pins and you'd still look like a queen. </div>

<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For the Four Seasons collection, I was inspired by the seasons. I've matched floral snap clips with leather clips that I believe is the color that best represents each of the season. Yellow for summer, Orange for autumn, Dark Green for spring and Light blue for winter. I find this collection bold and fun. This collection was actually made for both adults and young ones.</div>

Summer time is fast approaching. When I think about this, I always remember the times when I was little all we did was play, eat, take naps, go on swimming trips, and everything else that meant to have a vacation. It was so fun and now that I am now a working Mom. I always think of ways to catch up with my daughter and make her summer memorable each year, before she plans for herself when she grows up.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Since I am still can't decide yet on when to get her start going to school, I want her to learn a few things ahead earlier. She has now learn the alphabet, can now count 'til 30 and can now recognize colors and shapes. I thought it might be a great time to introduce her to new ways on learning.<br />
<br />
The things my daughter and I enjoy doing after a long day at work is giving her a go with paper works. I always assume she plays the whole day consuming her energy at a maximum which makes me want to catch up with her the on a low key.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvipmt12k6EEMDJB6vHoSQUJSbyjIvWI7OXXexlhi21UYMEIqqTOAehlE-N1tt5t4U5eWXo1svfmfNf2Z5QiIDRkYXBxOd5ms0x0m63HRuVvtaXaDSvJSWCrhQcDc-zJQGFPv5fUHPUG8/s1600/SAM_9272.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1065" data-original-width="1600" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgvipmt12k6EEMDJB6vHoSQUJSbyjIvWI7OXXexlhi21UYMEIqqTOAehlE-N1tt5t4U5eWXo1svfmfNf2Z5QiIDRkYXBxOd5ms0x0m63HRuVvtaXaDSvJSWCrhQcDc-zJQGFPv5fUHPUG8/s400/SAM_9272.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<br />
One of the things she loves doing is coloring. I make sure to get her new coloring books once in a while so she could have more choices. There are so many nice finds at bookstores and department stores. I love that this activity allows her to re-imagine the pictures as she colors. I allow her to choose which color to use.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
Another thing we do is story telling time. I got her a lot of children books in her favorite cartoon characters. She just loves it when I read her books more than once a day and even allowed her to memorize the lines in the books. She could even finish the lines while I read them.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx7ZZ9UzXA8sZCD97aiVGXuQahamZlKY_DECN3Cm8kRMiz-jrVfnIZ1YnAra1uO4iXpJLyqMUKkud5zEpDi8k4MU40i8Bpkq1VVPOH7eW-S1rIj7C8TWJxbPa8qXVaPPEMZF1odoDQe24/s1600/SAM_9278.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1065" data-original-width="1600" height="266" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhx7ZZ9UzXA8sZCD97aiVGXuQahamZlKY_DECN3Cm8kRMiz-jrVfnIZ1YnAra1uO4iXpJLyqMUKkud5zEpDi8k4MU40i8Bpkq1VVPOH7eW-S1rIj7C8TWJxbPa8qXVaPPEMZF1odoDQe24/s400/SAM_9278.JPG" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It's quite essential to let our kids explore for them to gain new interests and hobbies they could grow to love. One thing I love doing at home back then was playing pretend school. I love answering and making worksheets for my friends. But it takes a lot of effort making one considering I have to make more than one set for my pretend students. I recently came across <a href="http://education.com/">Education.com</a> which gives you access to downloadable and printable worksheets to help our kids with reading and writing. You can also get to choose what level your kids are have them in adorable theme selections.<br />

I just turned 28 and I am unstoppable. Sneaking this outfit post because I really miss making one. I've actually been getting back to my old habit of taking outfit photos because my good old friend Shamcey is back!! I am actually talking about my samsung nx11 camera. She was down for two years because I couldn't get a replacement for her lost charger. I recently just got a hold of one last December and was really happy that I get to use it again.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And for my birthday outfit, this wasn't my original peg but when my husband got this for me, I just knew I had to wear it on my special day. We actually both this from a thrift store. Our car passed by their store twice and it was still hanging in there waving at me, calling me. My husband needed to drive back just to get it for me. (Soo sweet!!) </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I love how it perfectly fits me. I also sported a comeback trend from the 90's, the good old hair clips. I couldn't get my hands on the trendy ones made of pearl so this will do for now. I've recently hoarded a bunch of new hair clips online and excited that I'd finally have them prolly next week. Also, I am so happy I finally braved wearing chunky earrings. It has been a while. I always take into consideration not wearing them since my daughter might grab them and pull my ear off but now that she's more mature, she now knows what not to touch and play with. I added a slim metal belt to accentuate my waist.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I am actually wearing the very same slip-ons I use at home. I didn't even think twice since its all matchy- matchy with my dress. It also made my look a bit laid-back. I was going for sneakers but remembered the very madam slip-ons of my idol Camille Co and Tricia Gosingtian I have yet to try. And hey! it actually worked.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Topping my look off with this lakas maka tita vibe leather bag. I was so tempted to make a boomerang twirling like no one's watching but there were people actually watching puzzled what I am doing, getting a picture taken on the same exact poses. Hahaha! Their confused look was hilarious.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been quite a while since I posted as a mom and it's prolly high time for me to make a new post. As much as we want to avoid giving out gadgets to kids because of the dangers it may put them through, there are still ways on how to protect them. I used to be in disapproval when parents let their kids at very young age use gadgets and now I've become one of those parents. My lil girl is only 2 years old and I admit that she already know her way through browsing her own apps.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It somehow bothered me that their are rampant platforms that are going on right now that pops up on children's usual cartoon videos that they watch. I took an action and made my own way to address this issue the motherly way.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So, I am giving you guys a few tips on how to protect our kids from these online monsters.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
First, I made sure to make a Youtube account that are logged in to several gadgets. Like, my daughters iPad, and my own phone. That way, I could easily monitor the history on which videos my daughter watches. Also, you can restrict your account to block mature themed videos to avoid your kids to get to see such videos.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Second, I got her the Youtube Kids app that will surely get kids safe and totally appropriate videos to watch.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Third, when these apps they use are online, they are prone to pop-ups or ads that we can't monitor. So what I do, I download the videos I want them to watch. Both Youtube and Youtube Kids has these feature that you can watch videos offline. Just make use of your account, look for videos you want them to watch, then press the download button. And you are good to go. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fourth, it is not just the online monsters I protect my kids from, but also the danger of letting my kid watch for a number of hours. So, I make sure to give her proper screening time. That way, she won't be deprived and at the same time we make time for our kids that we also go offline to give time with each other. I give her a maximum of an hour but make sure that she gets break at least 20 minutes in between.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fifth, if you guys have a smart TV you could always stream there whatever they're watching. You just need to press the stream button and make sure the TV and phone is connected to the same wifi connection.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Lastly, when my daughter is on her screen time I make sure to supervise and watch with her as much as I can. That way, I could get along with her and at the same time I have knowledge on where she learn things.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Educational or just pure fun videos to watch for kids help make them shape up their own personalities and it's scary sometimes that they learn these things by just watching videos but in this millenial age, they are all prolly going to end up making use of it in the future. Making them learn at an early age is both a risk-factor and beneficial for them. Let's just guide them as parents to shoo away these unwanted online monsters.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I still believe that it's best for our kids to enjoy their childhood both online and offline.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I hope you guys enjoyed my post. Just another post from my very own Mommy Diary.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Please leave some comment below on your own ways to treat this kind of Mommy issue. I'd love to hear from you guys.</div>

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Everyday I find myself chasing the sun, not because I'm always in a hurry but because I had this little moments that I feel I haven't done enough for the day. Ever since I was little it may not have shown in my academics or in mostly things that I do but I tend to push myself to my limits. I make decisions and make sure to get the things I needed and wanted to do to make all things work. At some point in my life, I've gone through a tremendous change that I have learned to accept and deal with such things I have never planned of and have always dread to seek a validation from my Dad. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sixteen years ago, I lost my Dad. Just like that, a blink of an eye, a snap of your fingers, a two minute phone call; hearing from the other line a crying, choking voice telling you, your Dad is gone. I have learned to accept the facts of it but every single day, I still mourn for him.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Every morning, when I drink my cup of coffee, I think of Dad when he was so thrilled then with all the new flavors of Nescafe.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Every Sunday meal when I take a bite of Mom's cooking, I think of Dad when he was always so dedicated to make his special dishes for us.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Every time my husband sends and fetch me to and from work, I think of Dad when my sister or my brothers or my Mom and I ride his motorcycle just to get in time to school.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have quite some special moments with my Dad that I wish that it wasn't just memories now. I have so many points in my life that I wish he just stayed longer but it all happened for a reason. It may have been sixteen years without him but my Mom did such an amazing job in making us who we are now. Not to brag and all, but a lot have something to say with how I am doing an amazing job raising my lil girl. And I thank my Mom and my Dad for that. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Learning to accept that I was defeated by such things like I would never have known what my Dad would think, or if he approves of what I am and have done every single day, is like learning to love the sun setting. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It must have been why I loved sunsets because it always reminded me that at the end of the day, after all your shortcomings, all the deadlines you have missed, all the borrowed time you could never take back, there will always be a beautiful sun waiting for you to set and I thank God for that.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Year 2018 have been a roller coaster ride for me. I cried a lot this year for things I got sad and happy. I shared victory with my husband how my daughter have grown to be a witty kid. I learned and discovered many new things at work that only my Philtrust family could taught me. I shared so many memories with my family that are for that I am mostly grateful for this year, especially times when we were all together with our own little families in a deserted resort. Such a fun experience!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For all my shortcomings as a wife and as a mom, I wish to make up for it in 2019.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Year 2019, bring it on! We are so ready for you.</div>

Long weekends give us a time-off from daily whereabouts and gives us some time to catch up with our husband and kids. I have a helper that takes care of my daughter whenever I work and I don't make her come over during weekends and holidays so we could have a solid bond. I find this very effective especially now that she can now understand that there are days I needed to work and days that I am free and can tend to her. I find it such a hard time to give my daughter the best bonding days because I always ran out of things to do with her. A two years old is very hard to please since they have very short attention spans, they tend to make there own decisions and are very hard headed at a times.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So in order for us to bond and keep her entertained and at the same time she would learn new things, I found myself scrolling through Toytink on instagram. I've known the brand since I gave birth to my kiddo in 2016. I've been following the account since I want to give my daughter the best of both worlds, having fun and to learn. Upon scrolling the account I came across their Christmas giveaway, I got all giddy about the educational toys and mom-kiddo goodies they are giving away.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

As people age and get mature, the choices that we make, the
changes we embrace, the failures we regret, the hardships we surpass, the
standards we set, the fashion trends we follow, all revolves around our
lifestyle. We learn to live in a whole new world once we finally step in to
adulthood. I was at some point in a verge of denial until my lil girl pinched
me while we sing and dance to nursery rhymes all day long, enjoy shopping for
her clothes than mine, and most of all, staying at home and sharing moments
only a daughter could give. It was all overwhelming at first but finally got
the hang of it with the help of my loved ones. And with so many changes that
happened, my style also evolved. Wow! What an evolution! Haha! I’ve finally
invested on darker hues for my wardrobe as I have been a total pastel lover. I
regret on not starting early on but loved collecting them all now. I am such a
sucker nowadays with navy blue and maroon ensembles. Also, I’m now a certified
white sneaker-head. Yes. A big emphasis on the color white, since I invested on
one colored sneakers and I had a hard time to pair them with my wardrobe, so
I stopped with one colored pair which is in pink. So I stuck to white sneakers
that I use and abuse all through out since they are always so comfy and
practically works with everything. It also helps that I spend lesser time to
put together my OOTD, now that I always have workable wardrobe for all
occasion. I tend to be dressier for church and family gatherings, just like my
OOTD a few Sundays ago.</div>

I wore this dress on my birthday last February and totes
forgot to take my OOTD. Once I buy a new dress for a certain occasion, I always
make sure to make use of it for church day then slowly using it for casual
days. That way I won’t let the dress feel that I took them for granted. Hahaha!
This dress gave me this bohemian vibes that I felt that it was the right time
to finally use the bag that equally screams boho, my fringes sling bag. Aahhh!
I was so happy when I got this from my cousin. I love how it is just so subtle
but also an eye-catcher in a good way. It worked so well that when I know I
will no longer get the chance to get a decent photo of it at home I just
dropped everything and get my photo taken at the parking basement of the mall
before riding the car. I was also able to finally capture it in action, all
thanks to boomerang. I got this dress from Knitty Gritty Manila. It’s an
Instagram shop that sells high quality ukay clothes and coats at an affordable
price. You get bragging rights if you shop from their store since the first
person to comment on the photo gets the item, making me all frantic with my
husband to stop using the internet for a while whenever I shop. I paired it
with my fringes bag and my nude block heels shoes from Primadonna. It’s the
only pair I got for dressing up, need to invest in a new one ASAP. Also, I’ve
been wanting to have a wrap dress for so long, even though it’s not the legit
type of wrap dress, I was so happy with this purchase. It is actually a
maternity dress that’s why so many people judged me that I was pregnant daw.
OMG! I was not informed. Hahaha! Anyway, I love this dress because of the color
and the print. Since, I am so in to navy blue and it has this beautiful pastel
floral prints made me want to buy the dress. Also, the length of it was just
perfect, not too long, not too short, that fits to my husband approved outfits.
The style is also timeless that I might be able to use it in the future. *Wink*
Dressing up made me feel like a wallflower all over again. Not just because of
my floral dress but I kind of blend in with all the moms dress to the nines
clutching diaper bags all the same. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
This was the second time I’ve finally posted an OOTD after
so long and makes me want to post some more. It also helps that my husband is
in full support of my return to OOTD blogging that I sometimes let him check my
grammar whenever I am not pretty confident with the content and he sometimes
direct me when to stop breathing just to get a decent photo of me with my happy
tummy, which is btw overwhelmed with food. Hahaha! On a more serious note, I
want to raise the issue that I find it super duper rude and never okay to ask
someone if they’re pregnant, especially when you don’t have this close relationship with
them or if you do have, you should have checked on your facts first, like, I
don’t know, a flashy baby announcement on social media because that’s what
everyone else does. I was always so pissed at first that I went to a point that
I break down and cried a lot, but now I have embraced my happy tummy and do
some exercising once in a while because apparently it is still my fault that
I’ve gained so much weight and haven’t gone back to my pre-natal body. My
fingers are still crossed, I haven’t lost my hopes yet. But still, it is rude
to ask especially when you’re asking someone who’s in a pretty good mood, it
just rottens the whole day ahead. Put yourself in other's shoes and ask yourself how you'd feel if you're not pregnant and someone asked you the same question. A lot of new moms and even the one's who have two or more children go through a lot when getting pregnant, and giving birth and I feel like a lot of people doesn't take postpartum blues seriously. It saddens me that I've read a lot of articles about moms who had worst scenarios of this ending up losing themselves. I wish people would be more sensitive to one another especially to women who recently just gave birth or is a new mom. I could feel myself unloading a lot of unwanted
baggage after writing this all down (typing, in this blog’s case). <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span><o:p></o:p></div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">When it comes to our baby’s comfort it is always on top of
our list. We don’t want to get the baby furious all the time, it would be at
our disadvantage, too. Whenever my lil girl gets the slightest hint of
discomfort I am always worried with what is making her feel that way.</span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd7mPXbL4_5jYjCaOaYnTaixibgN7DnobwmI1oeHGQsLYduHtjMLeeAMTB7MvzFmO5G1c8WvHDF6ZlXIE2JzIIbK9vficQNUlLCgw2d6KB6Zjf92ZAHozIjDwlgMurHutYs56ZSLWNjiE/s1600/20180902_224412.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgd7mPXbL4_5jYjCaOaYnTaixibgN7DnobwmI1oeHGQsLYduHtjMLeeAMTB7MvzFmO5G1c8WvHDF6ZlXIE2JzIIbK9vficQNUlLCgw2d6KB6Zjf92ZAHozIjDwlgMurHutYs56ZSLWNjiE/s640/20180902_224412.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">The first time, my baby was a few days old. She was crying
so much, my husband and I couldn’t make her stop. I was changing her diaper
when she had this blot of blood on her nappy. I was so worried I could our
pedia at a very inconvenient hour, it was prolly 12 midnight then. Luckily, our
pedia was kind enough to accommodate us and explained thoroughly that it was
caused by a hormone that I passed on when she was still inside me. Felt a bit
relief then. But my lil girl still would not stop crying until my husband tried
applying chamomile oil on her tummy. She was relieved. Chamomile oil is on my
list. This relieves tummy aches of baby who are bloated.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">There was also a time when my daughter had a fever after
getting her vaccination. She was burning up with fever then. I already gave her
paracetamol but she was still hot. And the cooling patch was such a big help
then. It made her feel normal despite the 38 degrees C body temperature. This
is included on this list. It is quite helpful also if the kid doesn’t want the
idea of taking medicine. But I still let her take them though.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Until now, my daughter who is now 2 years old, still gets diaper rashes once in a while even when using the best
diaper brands. I deal with them with diaper rash cream. Get yourself with a
trusty one. I make use of this tea tree remedy; it’s an all-natural salve that
helps soothe rashes, cuts, and burns. It’s very effective with my daughter.
When I put it on her rashes before she sleeps, the next day it already fades.<o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Another baby essential is the mosquito patch. I stack on
these since I don’t want my daughter to get sick from mosquito bites. I put one
patch on her back in the morning and two at night. It is readily available in
drug stores and grocery stores. It helps protect kids from insect bites, plus
it smells really nice. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">I also have with me always a bottle of clear spray sunblock
especially when we are in the outdoors. It helps protect the baby skin especially
from UV rays that our bare eyes couldn’t see. I also bought the hypoallergenic
type, to avoid unwanted allergic reactions.</span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">Of course, how can I forget? I don’t think anyone needs
reminding of this particular essential. And these are the baby wipes. These are
lifesavers, when your baby’s hands are dirty, there face got food all over
them, for changing nappies, for cleaning toys. It is always best to wash
anything properly with soap and water, but if worse comes to worst, they are my
go-to especially when we’re always on the go. <o:p></o:p></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 11pt; line-height: 115%;"><span style="font-family: inherit;">That is all for this post. I hope you guys find
this very helpful. </span></span></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Upon strolling the mall after a very long time, I got all giddy that the classics are back. I am seeing my childhood fashion trends. I remember when my Mom bought me and my sister some matchy ensembles. We wore leather clogs, mules, Mary Janes with matching metal buckles, striped shirt dresses, turtle neck tops, button down denim skirts, etc. I can now dress up the nerdiest way possible with the blazers and trousers trending look. They are so in nowadays and you can score the cheapest yet with good quality ones with your fave online shops. Cullotes and square pants are also making a comeback. I am so happy we are now back to the comfiest ways of dressing up. We can all follow trends and not compromise style and wear something laid back all at the same time. I am going to bring out all of my button down shirts and collared dresses with a winning grin knowing I’ll finally blend in. Come to think of it, it was called classics for some reason, uhm, maybe because they can never go out of style. I am so back in posting OOTDs on a regular basis if these goes on. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Classic and comfort wear are things on my list when it comes to dressing up especially that I always run errands with my lil one. And this ensemble hits my criteria of classic and comfort. This dress stresses out how far a classic striped dress shirt could go. I mean look at it. You can pair it with an endless list of shoes and accessories. I’ve already paired it with a denim vest, a scarf and now I tried my luck on a crochet vest and it actually worked for me. I made use of my trusty white sneakers to top off my look.</div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
These pair is pretty special among my white sneaks because of the satin material of the shoes. I love how it looks soo shiny from afar. (This pic did not give any justice to it though. SMH) The downside of this material is that it is pretty much prone to dirt. But I already have a new fix for this. You can always make use of wet wipes to wipe it all off. I’ve been using it with my daughters jelly shoes and it works perfectly with my shoes as well. I was very happy with my pictures all thanks to my husband for directing me while taking it. This outfit was both perfect for a Sunday mass and a gathering with my family and relatives. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEialVjIqen2harqAlxFPnbYYvlTMjwbmPsX0XryFZ9sUWrvuA_XjOQ-ADjw7uYImf6l4nyRVzWqcKPM6k67dpSIeO4Fdx5rlecqpdx4cGLiHzCiZRlob1vKTiBNo4m6KHD77nHCpaojAP4/s1600/20180529_175819.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1200" data-original-width="1600" height="480" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEialVjIqen2harqAlxFPnbYYvlTMjwbmPsX0XryFZ9sUWrvuA_XjOQ-ADjw7uYImf6l4nyRVzWqcKPM6k67dpSIeO4Fdx5rlecqpdx4cGLiHzCiZRlob1vKTiBNo4m6KHD77nHCpaojAP4/s640/20180529_175819.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
As I have become a wife and a mom, a couple of times I'd feel sad one night then feel great the next. My mood swings have gone so much worse especially when I had to deal with my postpartum blues. I never believed in them until I experienced one myself. My confidence was pretty low seeing my postpartum body, when I was left all alone dealing with my nappy changes and other baby routines while my husband goes to school, when I couldn't go to my usual whereabouts because I already have my daughter. It was a complete change of lifestyle in a snap. But at the end of the day, it was all totally worth it especially when you look at your baby sleeping soundly, your husband happily helping you out at home, and that touching feels when you see your baby grow up in to a good kid. Many would ask, how did you deal with all those up and downs? I have a few listed down cures to overnight heartbreaks. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
The first on my list is to get yourself a new series to watch. I have watched long time series like Gossip Girl, Pretty Little Liars, etc. when I was in college. I also got hitched with K-Drama series like Princess Hours, Dream High, The Heirs, etc. Also, who wouldn't want to watch reality TV shows like The Kardashians, Date with your Mom, Sweet Sixteen, Pimp my Ride, etc. I'm such a TV junkie then. I could totally survive a week without internet just give me a cable TV. It helps you get distracted with time. It makes you think about other lives' rather than sulk how to loose your postpartum weight.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Second on my list is to get a book to read. I'm also a sucker for book series. Harry Potter Series on top of my list, followed by The Hunger Games Series, The Selection Series, and a lot more. I have yet to read a few more famous series to add to my list. Reading lets you enter a totally different world that makes you feel away from reality. Also, it makes you feel a little obsessed with the characters sometimes that you'd want to research more about them that makes you preoccupied at times which is good if you're bored with your daily routine. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Third is to have a weekly movie date with your husband. My husband and I always watch a movie once or twice a week. It helps you catch up especially when you don't get to be with each other 24/7 because of work and school. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fourth is to get an old indoor hobby of yours back. Mine was getting back on track with my blog. I usually just post about my OOTDs but motherhood brought me to a whole new world I need to tell everyone about. It also helps me to remind myself of the things I ought to do and not to do. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Fifth is to get yourself a feel good playlist. This works miracles for me. I made myself my own playlist that I would play whenever I feel lazy doing my daily chores. When I pop my playlist on I just sing the night away then I am good to go. In a few hours I'm done washing and sterilizing the bottles, getting my daughter's things ready for the next day, fixing her toys away, choosing my work outfit, etc. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Sixth and definitely not the least is to give yourself a break and make yourself feel good on how you look. A few weeks ago I've got myself a bangin' bangs. I've cut them myself and felt good on giving myself a new look. Recently I tried bleaching my hair and tried dying it pink with a tempo dye. The bleached work but the pink tempo dye didn't but I love keeping my bleached tips. They're underneath though since we are not allowed to sport shocking colors at work. Also, once in a while I dress up and look for clothes in my closet that I haven't used yet. I try them out, mix and match with old ones, and create outfits. I also made sketches of them or list of new combos and tape it on the door of our closet to remind me of them.<br />
<br />
I have more things to share but I'm afraid anyone who reads it would snooze out. Also, one might ask how is the pic related to my post, well, if you haven't seen it yet, the cloud forms a mom holding her baby. It reminds me that at the end of the road it all falls on how much you value your family to make it all work.<br />
<br />
<br />
That's all for this post. I hope you guys find it helpful. Let me hear from you guys on your ways to cure overnight heartbreaks.<br />

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
For my first Mommy Diaries post, I’ll be writing about
something very close to my heart. It actually became a part of my daily
routine. I’d never last a day not doing this chore. I tried and tested a couple
of things that I finally found the ONE. I’m actually laughing while reading my
intro that shows my cheesy passion for bottle cleaning.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
When it comes to bottle cleaning I know a lot of moms are
very particular. We make sure to use the washing bottle soap that kills 99.9%
of germs, we probably use water at a maximum just to make sure there are no
excess soap left in the bottle and lastly but definitely not the least, we look
for the best and suitable washing bottle brush.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
For almost two years, I’ve actually tried several types of
bottle brush. I am going to discuss that later. I just wanted to share how
happy I am with what I have recently discovered. Also, I find it very crucial
when it comes to proper bottle cleaning. Despite the fact that after washing
them, we still sterilize them, I find myself very careful when cleaning my
daughter’s bottles. Making sure there is no milk residue left at the bottom of
the bottles. They should be rinsed properly leaving no soap. It must smell
clean but not too much that makes the water or milk tastes like soap. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
A big factor of this is choosing the right type of bottle
brush. It always depends on the type of bottle your kiddos are using and will
always come down to your own motherly gut feel and experience. This is just a
mere personal opinion, no way promoting an existing brand. It is all base from
my experience. I have actually tried and tested four types. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: center;">
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2BuZAeGK3GEpPmhLomB7CTx0n75OKc9ub4UEE-Zl2U0ZG-2P71H9K5dRhiXm_Bpx1MpQBxXSRYYi2msa92OvMJNI4sHtfk9cN2MjHx-KiQ08Os_CS3lpGH_Gg7Khrz-UTX7Zz85kEKl4/s1600/20180611_064108.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg2BuZAeGK3GEpPmhLomB7CTx0n75OKc9ub4UEE-Zl2U0ZG-2P71H9K5dRhiXm_Bpx1MpQBxXSRYYi2msa92OvMJNI4sHtfk9cN2MjHx-KiQ08Os_CS3lpGH_Gg7Khrz-UTX7Zz85kEKl4/s640/20180611_064108.jpg" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Bottle Brush with Sponge Head</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<span id="goog_549247041"></span><span id="goog_549247042"></span><br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
The first is the bottle brush with sponge head. This was a
very effective brush for me especially on the first few month of bottle
cleaning. I had difficulty when we switched to bigger bottles though. I had to
exert more effort so I could clean the bottom of the bottles properly. The
sponge was helpful but the more effort I make, the more I tear the sponge apart
from the brush. Also, the stem between the handle and the brush keeps on
bending. So, I switched to a different type. It ranges from 40-70 pesos. The
longest I had this brush was for three (3) weeks, the least I broke the sponge
in just a week. Boohoo.<o:p></o:p><br />
<br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOX6NCu9EysbZlrpKc2oKjNn8Y3Nc_ADKhtp15TNg-UoBrHRb_HFWmG1APiiFwBELkSrCpSt73YKt89egBiu8ftvilZb-OBBEBWyi9w93BxqvOKpWsLInYGvb1ZyGjbeuuwadJwEus20s/s1600/20180516_061610.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOX6NCu9EysbZlrpKc2oKjNn8Y3Nc_ADKhtp15TNg-UoBrHRb_HFWmG1APiiFwBELkSrCpSt73YKt89egBiu8ftvilZb-OBBEBWyi9w93BxqvOKpWsLInYGvb1ZyGjbeuuwadJwEus20s/s640/20180516_061610.jpg" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Brush Flat Head</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
The second one is the brush flat head. This was also
effective since the handle and head of the brush is one and the same, no to
bending stems and tearing up sponge. The bottom is also slightly bent replacing
the miracle of the sponge head. <span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"> </span>This is
the brush I had to replace the longest. It lasted for 4-6 weeks. The only
problem I have is it is quite pricey. The price ranges from 120-180 pesos.<o:p></o:p><br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBC90J_zZmVoILXzrLZks1cj6y8Rtmzcg51-s3Zwk3qTXFfihR6ReEuo3ILVc6wa6VX5vOiLV_BLRxqnxtq57VR5tNcGlGuJSowtcfVY_4RluRVDikli_a5XOvWXeEA4eZc42C2o2pYlc/s1600/20180516_061539.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhBC90J_zZmVoILXzrLZks1cj6y8Rtmzcg51-s3Zwk3qTXFfihR6ReEuo3ILVc6wa6VX5vOiLV_BLRxqnxtq57VR5tNcGlGuJSowtcfVY_4RluRVDikli_a5XOvWXeEA4eZc42C2o2pYlc/s640/20180516_061539.jpg" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Basic Bottle Brush</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
The third one is the basic bottle brush. There was a time
when I had no choice but to grab this type since there were nothing else
available in the grocery store I went to. The problem I had is that the metal
part of the brush is rusting. The stem is also very flexible like the bottle
brush with sponge head. I also check the bottle twice after rinsing since I
always have a bottle or two left with milk residue at the bottom. Talk about
hassle. I clean it all over again. The only thing good about this brush bottle
is that it’s the cheapest of the bunch. The price ranges from 20-40 pesos.<o:p></o:p><br />
<br />
<br />
<table align="center" cellpadding="0" cellspacing="0" class="tr-caption-container" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto; text-align: center;"><tbody>
<tr><td style="text-align: center;"><a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHdO_nWADpE5IbQnur35FyHxfnVfHhakw1DZAiNwfXYfVfoXLMKybi1R_Tz3lBAnkFrsxQdtNpTAx26aOrHJxPaWDs-VRjApv4vksKHVgO5lSDxgdwnP7IiEMpbMVQYL-vpEtQMn5zSP4/s1600/20180516_061425.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: auto; margin-right: auto;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHdO_nWADpE5IbQnur35FyHxfnVfHhakw1DZAiNwfXYfVfoXLMKybi1R_Tz3lBAnkFrsxQdtNpTAx26aOrHJxPaWDs-VRjApv4vksKHVgO5lSDxgdwnP7IiEMpbMVQYL-vpEtQMn5zSP4/s640/20180516_061425.jpg" width="480" /></a></td></tr>
<tr><td class="tr-caption" style="text-align: center;">Self-rotating Brush Bottle</td></tr>
</tbody></table>
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
The last but not the least, the brush I called the ONE is
the self- rotating brush bottle. I am totally biased to this brush since it had
been my best-est buddy with bottle cleaning. With the mechanical angle that it
has helping the brush to rotate on its own, I need not to exert extra effort.
The best part is that it also comes with the sponge head feature minus the
easily tearing part since I don’t need to effort that much. There’s actually
more to that, it’s not that cheap and not too expensive. It’s just the right
price. It ranges from 60-120 pesos. I’m using the cheapest type. I bought it at
a department store. <o:p></o:p><br />
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
There you have it folks. All you’ve read are just from my
own experiences. I am not promoting any particular brand. It just boiled down
to how I carefully chose what is suited for my daughter’s needs. For the first
time mommies out there, you can consider trying them out yourself and for the
veterans, please feel free to comment below if you guys have some suggestions
and comments about this post.<o:p></o:p><br />
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Also a tip, I clean the brush itself once a week by soaking
it with soap and water for 15 minutes, then rinsing it with boiling water. I
make sure that the brush is dry and clean before keeping it. I make use of the
hard plastic cover that comes with the bottle brush when you buy them. <o:p></o:p><br />
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
That is all for today’s post. I hope you guys find it
helpful especially the new moms out there just like me. Again, it still goes
down to what is best for your kid but a lil reading of others’ experience are
great help as I have also experienced all this before when I started at ground zero.<o:p></o:p><br />

It was a windy Sunday afternoon. We were in a farm. I was holding my daughter as she just fell asleep. She wasn’t able to take a nap this morning as we went to church. She’s heavier than usual. I could feel my muscle pumping in my arm as her head rests. I looked at her hands and fingers. They’re no longer the small baby hands I once held. Then it hit me. My daughter is no longer a wee little baby but a toddler. She just turned one (1), half a year ago. And I can’t grasp how much more she’ll grow over the coming days, months and years.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Being a first time Mom, every single day is a learning experience even when I read newsletters weekly and books for expectant moms beforehand and babysat a couple of my nieces and nephews. I still feel that I have no idea in what I’m doing. There are so many things to remember, wishing I could just list it all down. I had a light bulb moment. I’ve been thinking lately; why not share them here on my blog? I could just re-read when I needed to. I feel like with my age, I’m in the mommy zone now even my readers. That’s probably the best blogging idea I’ve had for this year. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
So there you have it folks. This page is now a style and mommy blog feat. Me and a lot of my mommy diaries I have been keeping for a year and a half now. My style diaries are no longer limited to my own ootds but are now extended with my daughter’s and husband’s as well. And that made me even more excited!</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But for now, I’ll be sharing to you a very first of my own Mommy OOTD. I find it really hard at first to dress up considering I’ve gained a lot of weight. And it is just now that I had the courage to post something like this.<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ3XAP15xRIsMVcK-Js5i3V8mX-STEk3CmONcVGuIqYTI3084gLyYxjjo2zsMUuhoek-iE5YEKns2mKEtTVHpVY7K0C2gAqglf2mAcIqJ6a1_bWOlBiXzWtZMjrRWyRDhYr0RlbvX3wiw/s1600/20180327_121841.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="640" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhQ3XAP15xRIsMVcK-Js5i3V8mX-STEk3CmONcVGuIqYTI3084gLyYxjjo2zsMUuhoek-iE5YEKns2mKEtTVHpVY7K0C2gAqglf2mAcIqJ6a1_bWOlBiXzWtZMjrRWyRDhYr0RlbvX3wiw/s640/20180327_121841.jpg" width="480" /></a></div>
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
Since, summer is now on its full blast. It is quite the right timing for my style have transitioned into something more comfortable, breathable and both convenient for me and my daughter. As for the colour palette of my wardrobe, I haven’t grown out my love for neutrals and pastels yet. I still consider myself a classic dresser though; I can’t help but notice how I am so into embroidered ensembles. That’s why this number caught my attention. I got this Zara embroidered dress from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/knittygrittymnl/?hl=en" target="_blank">Knitty Gritty MNL</a> an online shop on instagram. (P.S. It is such a proud moment if you get to purchase from this shop.) I imagine myself wearing this dress in so many possible ways. This time I 've worn it with my lace sneakers from <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sheshe.ph/?hl=en" target="_blank">SHEOSMANILA</a>. Also, I used my sling leather bag from Forever 21.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Considering that the length of it is slightly out of my comfort zone, I could actually wear it as a top layered with a skirt. The versatility of this dress is limitless that I can actually pair it with sneakers, sandals, ballet flats, heels, wedges and even boots. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<span style="text-align: justify;">Last Saturday, I got my nails done and eyelashes permed. I
had “me” time while my husband was thrilled to watch over our daughter all
afternoon. I decided to take a stroll in the mall. It was such a bad idea
considering it’s only a few weeks before Christmas day. The mall was packed.
There were lots of people lining up to pay for their items bought, lots of
people lining up in the dressing room, lots of people lining up in the
bathroom, and when I left the salon it was full in a matter of 2 minutes.
Everyone is rushing, Holiday rushing. I got a bit worried because I haven’t
bought a single item on my Christmas presents list. So I decided to take a peek
if the items I’m going to buy are still there. I felt relieved seeing it all
still available. No one seemed to get the same items for Christmas as I will be
after all, which is a good sign. </span><br />
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Today, my post will be about getting through a holiday rush.
Every year I tell myself not to shop in a rush which I always still do until
now. But with the years gone by, it taught me a few strategies to ace the
ultimate holiday rushing since it is the season of sharing. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
My first tip is to list down everything. Make a Christmas
presents list, their alternatives, places to go to, grocery shopping list, dates
of parties to attend to, etc. It is important to be organize to consume lesser
time in choosing which present to get for your loved ones, the same with
grocery items to get. Also, always list down alternatives just in case you run
out of the items on your list in order to decide easier which one to grab,
leaving the mall not empty handed. Besides from the list of the items, I also
list down where the items are bought, so you’ll be able to grab all the things
you need within the same area. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
My second tip is to go to unholy hours at the mall.
Christmas season means extended mall hours. If you live nearby, or mall is
accessible to your home, why not going to the mall at 7 o’clock in the evening
or any time before 10pm or 11pm on a weekday and you’ll see the difference with
shopping on a weekend. <o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
My third tip is for the online shoppers. Make sure that you
purchase items 2 weeks before Christmas since shipping takes longer on this
very busy season. Also, to avoid returning the items, I make sure to be specific
with the style, size and color of the items before checking out your shopping
bag or cart. Also, I double check my shipping address and contact number to
avoid unshipped items. The shipments are prone to errors when it is this busy.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
My fourth tip is to give out gift certificates, vouchers or
cold cash. This is the easiest and laziest way to ace that holiday rushing.
You’ll need two things to get ready for this, money envelopes and crispy new bills.
Another tip for this is to get your money changed in bank a few weeks before
Christmas because believe it or not, banks ran out of new bills, too.<o:p></o:p></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Now I leave you guys, with a photo a few years ago channeling White Christmas.</div>

I’d be able to post it before Christmas) I’ll be posting about gift wrapping
and personalizing items. <o:p></o:p></div>

On a very early Sunday morning before I drafted this post I watched “Pursuit of Happiness” with my husband. He fell asleep while I am still wide awake and finished the movie. I was having a lot of thoughts lately of work, my family and life in general. It seemed to keep me awake so I decided to start today earlier than the usual, just 2 hours earlier though.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I saw unwashed feeding bottles, our messy room, and felt my stomach rumbling for food. Instead of washing bottles, tidying our room up or grabbing a sandwich downstairs, I decided to open our closet and try on my outfit for Christmas day. Yes, I still look forward to dressing up for this very special season that I shop for it weeks or even months before. I always wanted to try it on but I haven’t seemed to get the chance to. And so, I wore this absolutely beautiful top and slip into this equally beautiful bottom. You’d have to wait for my Christmas outfit post to know and actually see it. I am no way spoiling you with this post. Ha! And then I looked at myself in the mirror, it looks exactly what I pictured it to be. I was in awe. My face was glowing with joy. After a few more minutes of staring at myself in the mirror, I finally decided to take it off already and carefully put it back hung in my closet. But then it struck me, I haven’t gotten anything for my New Years day outfit and the days ticking by, countdown getting closer and closer to Christmas and New Year. Oh no! So I opened my closet again looking at my clothes. I was thinking. Thinking of coming up with outfit my family hasn’t seen before. I had a light bulb moment. I had this skirt that I haven’t used yet. I got it from my aunt’s old pile of clothes she hasn’t used in years. I decided to keep it because it was my size and I loved it. Then I looked at a dress my mom gave me that she hasn’t used yet. It was of same color but with a different shade. I decided to use the dress as a top and wore the skirt. It looked absolutely amazing how it worked too for me. I was again in awe. And from then on I tried every ensemble I could think of at that very moment.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have lot of clothes that I never have worn because of reasons like impulse buying because of sale, ill-fitting because I refused to try it on, and clothes that I really loved but doesn’t have any existing wardrobe matching it. I already trimmed down my list of clothes never been used, pairing it with existing ones. I was truly amazed by the ensembles I have come up with. It was all on point. (Patting myself in the back.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And with all these thoughts I had in mind, it made me realize a lot of things. Warning! The next few statements are quite melodramatic. Hahahaha! Please bear with my sentimental early morning self. I realized that in order to correct or change yourself for the better, you don’t actually always need to have new things. You have certain skills to begin with that you haven’t used yet, might as well expand your horizon by using them. I’ve gone through rough days at work the past few months and I will not be torn down by this minor bump. (Patting myself again in the back for being able to say it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I also realized that my lil girl have grown so much already. Last Sunday, on the way home, she was talking non-stop, repeating words, calling me and her Dada, reciting every family member’s name, and random stuff like nanay, tatay, papay. Hahahaha! It was so fun to hear her being talkative and all. I feel so bless with my family. It makes me love weekends and holidays hundred times as more.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Also, I realized that I very much deserve a sandwich after all that mind boggling dressing up game. Ha! I can’t believe I actually pulled off inserting my PBJ sandwich at the end.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And as I made the draft of this post, I actually realized that I lack ootd pictures and Polyvore is quite a big help in making my blog posts lately. And I’m going to make use of it again for this post. I want to share Christmas inspired outfits since it’s fast approaching and parties are here and there. Feast your eyes with sets I made with Polyvore. Spoiler Alert! I was inspired by the good old Christmas carol songs.</div>

A few days ago, on a very boring afternoon, I was flicking through the channels of the television when I came across one playing the movie with the title "Fallen". I was scared at first since it was Halloween month that it's a type of scary movie that gives me nightmares. But when I told myself why not watch something I've never have heard of and just give it a try. So, I decided to stick around watching it. It didn't gave the slightest disappointment, in fact, I actually love the movie and I'm searching if they have a sequel of it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I have this same feeling when trying on new trends and styles. I always get away by sticking to my go-to pieces. I told myself that I'd have to face them by actually embracing insecurities so I could try and think out-of-the-box ensembles. Confidence is the key in getting out of your comfort zone. That's why I gathered all my over the top looks to help you inspire on trying a piece in your closet you haven't used yet because your fashion fear is putting them aside.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Let me show you some of my old looks taking out my confidence to a whole new level. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhndcgk_pra7uPAHb-fkZfE4eJM17qqGTR1jeeuZiiDtcsTJa0Cr7Plx2ZwF3-6xpcixLvu5VokL9ad8A1t3hFkU00Qp4jN5-mUPqAHvMJegkQj6UaGb1ySeybp8VJ1-wRjE1_c0pa9nmg/s1600/weekender.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1020" data-original-width="1200" height="272" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhndcgk_pra7uPAHb-fkZfE4eJM17qqGTR1jeeuZiiDtcsTJa0Cr7Plx2ZwF3-6xpcixLvu5VokL9ad8A1t3hFkU00Qp4jN5-mUPqAHvMJegkQj6UaGb1ySeybp8VJ1-wRjE1_c0pa9nmg/s320/weekender.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
My style is downright conservative that's why I consider this look challenging, exposing my legs and my shoulders. I tried to balance it out with a neutral color of skater skirt with a loud print top. I gave myself a pat in the back when I wore this to a stroll at the mall with my family.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSaOdsa8B_EqodkyB6LVfIsK1Ojf8uyhxXVeoM3245pOLNY4il4bLT_kQghbRmpSOrtC1BjH13rVR6auTAxRUz4gUdM2j7m13jtUhL_lC9c9Q2WUTaNJE4y95DMCEQb4nO52iIVb6o3eQ/s1600/080113.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1068" data-original-width="1200" height="284" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSaOdsa8B_EqodkyB6LVfIsK1Ojf8uyhxXVeoM3245pOLNY4il4bLT_kQghbRmpSOrtC1BjH13rVR6auTAxRUz4gUdM2j7m13jtUhL_lC9c9Q2WUTaNJE4y95DMCEQb4nO52iIVb6o3eQ/s320/080113.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
This was a pretty eccentric look for me. It's all in neutral colors but the way I paired it with metallic items made it to this list. It was all just out of my comfort zone. I dared myself to wear it on a Sunday movies night with the family.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv5SsanXHkU4h-0zHeIrTpG8RQ_QPNLaMniHvdGLvSx-z7vG8cdSQBBv91sEW8qWbdWjM3jOkSWaWm87usYbmz0RvOXW1G-yg6cggygk5SwiEjRwYmXdSt0pVlK-fgXONLD4o-TqQOe50/s1600/IMAG0284.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgv5SsanXHkU4h-0zHeIrTpG8RQ_QPNLaMniHvdGLvSx-z7vG8cdSQBBv91sEW8qWbdWjM3jOkSWaWm87usYbmz0RvOXW1G-yg6cggygk5SwiEjRwYmXdSt0pVlK-fgXONLD4o-TqQOe50/s320/IMAG0284.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This looks pretty ordinary but when you look at my accessories and booties, it just shouts over the top. I wore this on a family gathering. This was the time when neons was in when it comes to accessories. I paired it with neutrals. I swallowed my shyness when I wore this. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPFX39PTyvDjItVqvz7EIy0NiSj7xfjenqUM0MgZjF0K0d1TSa8dagUDB1pPdzGTwrOTiZQh5blhkEsdq8JWMGzKP5v3WtysiNw47_zfq1nG5uA9NJzcejRCn5ALasVQFshsOoQZK9dt0/s1600/IMAG0220+-+Copy.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1600" data-original-width="1200" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiPFX39PTyvDjItVqvz7EIy0NiSj7xfjenqUM0MgZjF0K0d1TSa8dagUDB1pPdzGTwrOTiZQh5blhkEsdq8JWMGzKP5v3WtysiNw47_zfq1nG5uA9NJzcejRCn5ALasVQFshsOoQZK9dt0/s320/IMAG0220+-+Copy.JPG" width="240" /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This was a weekend with family. I wore a really show stopping chandelier earrings pairing it with my ragged look. It worked so well with my curly hair. I admit though that I used my hair a few times to cover them but I felt really pretty wearing this ensemble. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5R658m0wesW20WNAdCrf9BU4lqmDwml-fTPiaktuxuB0wHgCxMlnNI6Bumr2zddHErdBHMea2Sylgi1DUWD3M84GicfWX2nGDNIBD8_SPJrn50aaHdP1DxekcLZhSkaxFbpIWf_Hg-SM/s1600/PhotoGrid_1351808006962.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" data-original-height="1024" data-original-width="1024" height="320" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi5R658m0wesW20WNAdCrf9BU4lqmDwml-fTPiaktuxuB0wHgCxMlnNI6Bumr2zddHErdBHMea2Sylgi1DUWD3M84GicfWX2nGDNIBD8_SPJrn50aaHdP1DxekcLZhSkaxFbpIWf_Hg-SM/s320/PhotoGrid_1351808006962.jpg" width="320" /></a></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My Aunt and Popsi was shocked when I wore this one day to church. I felt shy at first but I loved the idea of wearing tights underneath dresses and shoes + heels combo, so I braved wearing them. I looked like a school girl though. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

<div style="text-align: justify;">
This was a pretty bold look wearing a floral crown with an overly dramatic dress with lace hemlines. I wore this on New Years Day. I had a few heads turning giving my look a second glance but still love how I look like a real life fairy shopping at a mall. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Building confidence is quite a tough job when you are not supported. That's why I loved the idea of Dia&Co. having a Try-Day-Friday for individuals to face their fashion fears. <a href="https://www.dia.com/?var=2&utm_expid=94552225-29.zPHbWFHASEimdG-7EycaIw.2&utm_referrer=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.google.com.ph%2F" target="_blank">Dia&Co</a> is a shopping destination showcasing plus sizes 14+. Plus size or not we all have our own insecurities and boundaries when it comes to our style. But that does't mean that we'll just let these insecurities get in our way of new or old style. That's why I support Dia & Co in building up confidence in everyone.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
It has been fourteen (14) months since I gave birth and I have gained a lot of weight ever since. I even have bulges in my tummy showing, stretch marks that didn't faded and a lot more. I haven't gotten my pre-pregnancy body back. But that did not stop me from going out of my comfort zone. In fact, I recently purchased a low scoop back lace dress online and I can't wait to wear them and share them here.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today is Try-Day-Friday. What fashion fears have you faced today? I'd love to hear them by leaving your comments below.</div>

Summer, Autumn, Winter and Spring. There are four seasons. In the case of sunny Philippines, we only have dry and wet season but that won't stop me from dressing to Fall season. Autumn or Fall season is the transition between summer and winter. The breeze gets colder, the climate is more cloudy and the temperature drops not too low as winter season. In our country, it is somewhat similar to what we experience during wet season, adding the rainy days. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When it comes to dressing up during a gloomy weather, I find it my fave season since I get to work with long-sleeves shirt, good tailored blazers, colored tights, scarfs, and even a hat. Of what array of choices I have for my outfit of the day. i am actually Fall season biased because of this. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For this particular post, I'll be sharing to you three sets of mood board when dressing for Fall season.<br />
<br />
<br />
<br style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; text-align: start;" />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; font-family: "helvetica neue light" , , "helvetica" , "arial" , sans-serif;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2HIfnCIKLTWk1EnXZ8nkTR20SYb25fKP7y2ejBVCb0PcDZSHlNwX10GqAS9XzwYk4MZ6gjdnRuiIBKrHaR5BhICrUIqj4M_TdXhG3MJG8VVRAGk8j1-3_oM_0ReoTOthJ3f-QnflDMg4/s640/blogger-image-181774503.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj2HIfnCIKLTWk1EnXZ8nkTR20SYb25fKP7y2ejBVCb0PcDZSHlNwX10GqAS9XzwYk4MZ6gjdnRuiIBKrHaR5BhICrUIqj4M_TdXhG3MJG8VVRAGk8j1-3_oM_0ReoTOthJ3f-QnflDMg4/s640/blogger-image-181774503.jpg" /></a></div>
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My first mood board is composed of a peter pan collared long-sleeves dress, a pair of tights, a classic leather sling bag, a beret, and a pair of brogues. It has this classic and preppy twist. Whenever I want to be safe with my look, I turn myself as a total geek. There's nothing wrong with that. In fact, I'm a proud geek myself, topping all my looks with my eyeglasses. This dress from <a href="http://www2.hm.com/en_asia5/index.html" target="_blank">H&M</a> is one of those LBD you can wear anywhere to. I could wear this to work or church days. I always cover my legs with a pair of stockings or tights because of my mosquito bites. But if your not a fan of it, you can opt for a pair of socks. And when I say pair of socks, it's not just plain white socks, you can wear colored ones, or better yet laced or printed socks. As for the brogues, they are my go-to flats. When I was in college, I have them in different types; glittered, floral and leather. But if you don't like wearing one, you could always use a pair of ballet flats or mary janes. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBOPw9pNPzLF3I7b1zh0ZhNFOCGWPrRZiAtw5p-a1lfdC-PAXb7KK3UtWE2habmqinTl_xsAFE15i_oSwYlkoKEWkPprmPdAznVKj9Us9K3OxZs4Ivbb6J8KXZiCha5WIC95VlH3GA7U8/s640/blogger-image--66642263.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: start;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBOPw9pNPzLF3I7b1zh0ZhNFOCGWPrRZiAtw5p-a1lfdC-PAXb7KK3UtWE2habmqinTl_xsAFE15i_oSwYlkoKEWkPprmPdAznVKj9Us9K3OxZs4Ivbb6J8KXZiCha5WIC95VlH3GA7U8/s640/blogger-image--66642263.jpg" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
For my second mood board, it includes a scarf, white crisp shirt, a long vest, skinny jeans and a pair of pumps. This look means business. It can be worn for work, meetings, family gatherings, even a stroll at the mall. The list is endless. This look is another classic take on basics. A white crisp shirt, pair of jeans, nude pumps are match made in heaven. I just added a scarf and long knitted waist coat from <a href="http://navabi.co.uk/">NAVABI.CO.UK</a> for an added drama to this look. These are my favorite pieces from this ensemble. As an alternate for the scarf, you could wear a statement necklace instead. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglqMRvuVFyk0lsm_dXaJLoaCJAbVK837_L2LJf5nRd52q9K4YvWBSxrhzSso2DWijPREPss0NDZwp7-kuEitukNVYCCbEm3AFMwgg8GIjOSAz_D1bGza8638k1jO04weUjy4Hxw_ynzC8/s640/blogger-image--3354155.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="font-family: 'Helvetica Neue Light', HelveticaNeue-Light, helvetica, arial, sans-serif; margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em; text-align: start;"><img border="0" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEglqMRvuVFyk0lsm_dXaJLoaCJAbVK837_L2LJf5nRd52q9K4YvWBSxrhzSso2DWijPREPss0NDZwp7-kuEitukNVYCCbEm3AFMwgg8GIjOSAz_D1bGza8638k1jO04weUjy4Hxw_ynzC8/s640/blogger-image--3354155.jpg" /></a><br />
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And last but not the least, my final mood board for this post has a turtle neck ribbed top, an overlap skirt, tweed blazer and a knee-high boots in it. If my first two looks are both classic, this is a bolder one. It has superstar written all over it. This look can be worn for get-togethers, work events, even when traveling. What I love about this look is the tweed blazer from <a href="http://woox.com/">woox.com</a>. It balances out the superstar vibe of the outfit. If your not a fan of knee-high boots, you could always opt for a pair of booties wearing tights underneath the skirt. It would work either way. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Besides from the dark hues color palette, have you noticed another common thing about them? If you answered gold earrings, then you got it right. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://auratenewyork.com/collections/earrings" target="_blank"><br /></a></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<a href="https://auratenewyork.com/collections/earrings" target="_blank">A classic pair of gold earrings never gets old</a>. You can wear it dressing to the nines or during an ordinary casual day. I have been eyeing a lot of pieces from <a href="https://auratenewyork.com/" target="_blank">AUrate New York</a>. Besides that the jewelries they make are made of ethically sourced materials, every purchase made with AUrate benefits economically disadvantaged school children. What's not to love about wearing jewelries while helping out those in need? </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This is what I love the most when dressing up. You get to look good and people who are in need benefit from it. Fashion for a cause, indeed. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
That is all for this post. I hope you guys enjoyed it as much as I did. </div>

<span style="font-family: inherit;">Whenever I hear wedding bells ring, I am actually more excited with planning what to wear rather than being happy for the couple. Just kidding! But admit it; it’s such a party conceptualizing an outfit especially now that weddings have outgrown the traditional way. More and more couples tend to go for extraordinary themes or motif. </span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">In the sunny Philippines, a lot of couples have a beach wedding theme. Since we are a tropical country, we have beaches everywhere, making it convenient for couples when looking for the perfect date and location. Whenever I hear of a beach theme wedding, I always picture an altar at the seashore, rows of chairs with sand as the floor, a beautiful sunset as a view, overflowing flowers on each aisle, the smell of the ocean and the sound of the waves as the background. I always consider a lot of factors choosing an outfit.</span></div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;">First is the occasion, location, time of the day, theme or motif, etc. I make sure to breakdown the factors of it, then adding up the level of comfort to finish every single look. I learned my lesson that you should never sacrifice comfort over fashion, okay, maybe just a little but make sure it’s worth the sacrifice. I haven't gone to a beach wedding yet but I always have a picture what to wear to one. I always imagine wearing a maxi dress or skirt and top combo in a light and breezy material, minimal accessorizing, and a really comfy pair of flats or sandals. My summer color palettes is composed of pastel colors and incorporating it with floral print. I actually made sets from my polyvore account to attend a beach wedding. I have five summer wedding guest sets. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A corset top, a maxi skirt, a sun hat and pair of comfy open flats equates my first set. For an outdoor set up, I added a really nice sun hat to protect my face from getting all burned. Also, finishing the outfit with a light envelope bag and an espadrille sandals. I always go for top and maxi skirt combo for times like I need to look casual and formal at the same time. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">

</div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />
</span> <span style="font-family: inherit;">An off shoulder top, a color blocked midi skirt, a sling bag, a scarf as a choker and a pair of sneakers in glitters. This set is for the ladies who are not comfortable with wearing floor length skirts and wearing heels. Another option is the midi skirt. But this set is more for a summer wedding indoors. I added a scarf as an accessory for the purpose that if it gets chilly indoors you could use it as a covering. The sneakers is optional but I have this fascination for dress up sneakers like this pair filled with glitters. </span><br />
<span style="font-family: inherit;"><br />

<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
A mullet dress, envelope bag, gladiator sandals, a bangle and a sun hat is my third set. This set is for the ladies who don't want to bother pairing tops and bottoms, a no brainer actually, a floral dress is the key. The cut of the dress is a mullet bottom and cold shoulder top. I would love to pair this dress with a nice and simple gladiator sandals since it will show a part of your legs. Also, added a few more key piece accessories which is the gold floral bangle, a hologram envelope bag and a sun hat. This key pieces will serve its purpose as the cherry on top of the outfit. </div>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 600px;">

</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br />
<br />
<br />
A nice pair of trousers, a frilled top matching with a pair of same tone of wedges, a shawl vest, rock star sunglasses, and a bucket bag in straw is my fourth set. This set is more of earth tones making it light and cool. I added the vest if in case the sea breeze gets colder. I more and more enjoy styling with trousers since it is quite a convenient for ladies in a location where you can't be sure of the predictable weather.<br />
<br />
<br /></div>
<div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 600px;">
<div style="position: relative;">
<a href="https://www.polyvore.com/sleek_summer_wedding/set?.embedder=23802469&.svc=copypaste&id=227216128" target="_blank"><img alt="sleek summer wedding" border="0" height="854" src="https://cfc.polyvoreimg.com/cgi/img-set/.sig/AMxsQ02uJIg9GsgXKaskyA/cid/227216128/id/vjKVUn2J5xGW2V8lZRqEYg/size/c600x854.jpg" title="sleek summer wedding" width="600" /></a></div>

<br />
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
My fifth set is different. I made this for my forever wedding date, my husband. I picked something really basic. His style is more of clean and sleek. He likes to keep everything simple. I picked a charcoal grey shirt. If to be worn in the outdoors, I would fold it for him for it to become a quarter sleeve. As for the pants, I chose something darker than khaki. I also chose something with a quirky embroidered design. I also added a nice and simple brown leather belt for it to be look put together. A pair of slip on sneakers for him to be comfortable at all times, and a pair of sunglasses because his fond of wearing them. I only made one set for the men since this style may be converted from outdoors to indoors location. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<div style="margin: 0 auto; width: 600px;">

<div style="text-align: justify;">
In choosing what to wear to an occasion, I hope you guys would remember to wear something you are comfortable with since this type of gatherings takes hours to be done and a time to enjoy the memory to be shared with the couples.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I had so much fun sharing my mood board for beach weddings. I hope my little sharing of converting styles from indoors to outdoors helped you guys out in choosing your next ootd for a wedding. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Hoping to make another style tips post like this. </div>

It has been quite a while since my last entry. I thank my daughter for having her usual afternoon nap to compose one. Words could not explain nor express how happy I am right now with my life. Marriage, motherhood, is just a few new chapters of my life I’ve recently opened. It took me months before I realized that the blogging world has no such thing as civil status requirement, age bracket, thus, has no limits. <o:p></o:p></div>

<div class="MsoNormal" style="text-align: justify;">
Every single day makes me feel inspired, writing about anything I see under the sun. There was once when I almost made a post about the fish I just saw at the market holding on for its dear life, or about the ants that suddenly stop whenever I take a closer look at them, or about random things I encounter in my everyday life. It actually made sense how a change of lifestyle makes you more curious about things, particular about small details, and a lot more. It was timely that I was able to take a snap of my ootd last weekend with this post of mine.<o:p></o:p></div>

Ever since that I have been a mom and a wife, I tend to hold back when choosing my outfit for the day. Besides from dressing appropriately for the occasion and weather, I had to consider much more things like, if my daughter would be comfortable while I carry her, or if I could last long while holding her, or all motherly panic reasons I could think of, thus making me feel safe with my choices. I stopped wearing short bandage skirts or anything too fit (except skinny jeans) for me since I’m not that comfy with them anymore. I also have the fear of wearing crop tops since my tummy haven’t been the same flat tummy I had pre-preggy shape. So, my usual are now loose top and jeans. But I had this new fascination for skinny slacks or straight cut pants and culottes. </div>

<span style="text-align: start;">I went for a laidback mom look, a skinny sort of harem pants in crimson red paired with a sleeveless lace top in navy blue. I can't hide the excitement that I finally made a post featuring these awesome sneakers. I have been eyeing this pair since last year and they've launched it last summer. It is my current overused pair, even violating casual Fridays at work, wearing it. I've got it from my fave shoe brand made in the PH, <a href="https://www.instagram.com/sheshe.ph/" target="_blank">Sheshe (formerly Sheos Manila)</a>. They make one of the comfiest shoes ever. Right now, I have three pairs from them. </div>

<span style="background-color: white; color: #222222; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: 12.8px;"><span style="font-size: 12.8px;">First, I make sure to prepare snacks and it's a no-brainer actually I always grab some popcorn and drinks. Just pop it on the microwave oven and grab some drinks in the fridge and we're all set for our snacks.</span></span></div>

<span style="font-size: 12.8px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 12.8px;">Secondly, I make sure we have a comfy couch. Aside from the comfort of the couch alone, I make sure to get some blanket for my husband and my daughter and lots of pillows so we're all extra comfy. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 12.8px;"><br /></span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-size: 12.8px;">And lastly, some good company. Movie nights are not just meant to kill boredom but also a great bonding time with the family. <div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">As we reach a point in our lives realizing how time flies and a new chapter opens, I can't help but wonder if there is still a need to plan for the future ahead. I, myself, is a big fan of making to-do lists especially when I have lots of errands to do or reports to make then and now which is synonymous with planning. It helped me a lot to meet deadlines and manage the time I was given. I actually have a list of things to do before I turn 25 that I made five years ago. It consists of actual grown-up stuff that some I have already ticked off from my list. </span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">Today, my year long hiatus from blogging ends as I finally had the time to make a comeback post after getting married and welcoming our first born. Yes. I am now enjoying my days of being a wife and mom all rolled into one that made me realize to make this post. As I experience new things presently, the motherly spirit inside of me tends to make me want to share to all of you a generic grown up list. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">First, choose your career path. From the course you will take in college to the company you wish to work with is essential. Another big factor are your hobbies and interest. Since it will be part of your daily routine, you have to consider if you'll want to do the same things in the longer run, and to have a long term work relationship with your team. Also, You'll not just choose a certain career path because it is your dream job but you'll have to undergo a trial and error as some things you've never imagined to do before certainly fits you now. Who would imagine that a shy and quiet type like me would actually fit being in the frontline of a financial</span><span style="font-family: uictfonttextstyletallbody; font-size: 17px;"> institution? You'll never know until you try new things. So try to broaden your horizon. Don't </span><span style="font-family: uictfonttextstyletallbody; font-size: 17px;">be afraid to make mistakes because you'll definitely learn from them. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">After choosing your career path, learn to save money. Setting aside a certain amount from your paycheck is important. You'll always need to save for future use. Start saving a small percentage then add gradually as the years go by. You'll surprise yourself in the future. Learn and practice the income equation:</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><b>Income-Savings=Allowance/Expenses</b></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">Earning for a living is not just for paying bills and daily needs. Every now and then learn to reward yourself. Schedule a shopping trip to the mall, a dinner out with friends and family, a </span><span style="font-family: uictfonttextstyletallbody; font-size: 17px;">movie date or travel to places you've never been to, you choose, as long as you won't break the bank. Work with a certain budget. You'll appreciate what you earn if you reward yourself once in a while. </span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">Life is not just work and play. You'll have to do actual grownup stuff like making yourself and your future secure through investments. You can use a certain percentage of your savings by investing. May it be getting a property under your name or buying stocks from the market or opening your own business or investing on other financial institution offered products or even enrolling to earn your another degree. There's lots of things to make your future secure besides having a savings account. </span><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; text-align: start;">Sites like </span><a href="https://www.personalcapital.com/" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; text-align: start;">Personal Capital </a><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; text-align: start;">can offer helpful </span><a href="https://www.personalcapital.com/financial-software" style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; text-align: start;">financial tools</a><span style="-webkit-text-size-adjust: auto; font-family: UICTFontTextStyleTallBody; font-size: 17px; text-align: start;"> that can make budgeting for these big decisions a lot easier to manage.</span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">
</span>
<br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"><br /></span></div>
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;"></span><br />
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">Lastly, learn to live life to the fullest and put God in the center of everything. A lot of things have gone through my life and I never regretted the mistakes I made in the past because of every blessings I have been receiving then and now. Every little things that comes to us may it be good or bad is a blessing from up above. We have rough days to remind us that God knows </span><span style="font-family: "uictfonttextstyletallbody"; font-size: 17px;">we're strong enough to get through them. Oh how I miss my school days, especially the times when I get to dress up. The night before, I always plan what I will wear for the next day. <span style="text-align: justify;">When I was still young (as in, early college days), I used to play safe when it comes to dressing up for school. I usually go for a pair of jeans and collared top then I am already good to go. My style evolved from over-the-top, like when I actually thought that wearing pink from head to toe was cool, to minimalist, as wearing plain, solid colored top, with neutral flats and pair of jeans, then to my present style mantra, which is thinking out of the box, appropriately.</span></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I learned how to mix and match prints, to block the right color palette, to dress appropriately and to accessorize.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
One of my dress code dilemmas then was choosing the right, school appropriate prints. There were so many to choose from, paisley, floral, scarf print, stripes, polka dots, etc. But the tricky part is, pairing it with the right top or bottoms. With this, I'm going to share the things I always consider when choosing the coordinate to match le print.<br />

First is color scheme of the print. It is always safe to pair printed ensembles with neutral colors but it's going to be plain old boring if you will not try to experiment. For this particular outfit of mine, I've got four colors; mint green, pink, purple and white. With this palette, I was able to use a white top, purple bag, pink sandals and a necklace in mint green, pink and white. As I am a pastel lover, I never had the difficulty in getting all the color scheme paired with.<br />
<br />
It was a big day for my sister as I worn these particular coordinates. It's both comfy and stylish. Why include this in my wash day dairies? I say, if I was still going to school, this would prolly be one of my fave ensembles that I could wear.<br />
<br />

<br />
Secondly, the type of print. I don't want to go overboard when I wear something with a heavy print. In this case, the top is a mixture of floral and texture prints. I opted to pair it with a dark pair of jeans and white sneaks to balance out the print.<br />
<br />
It was a pretty crazy military parade when I wore this, so I made sure I was comfortable in what I wear. But of course, never sacrifice style that I still got away by wearing my fave acrylic beaded necklace matching it with my acrylic watch.<br />
<br />
Prints are definitely one of my favorite things I love working with when it comes to dressing up. It gives me this one slight effort to think how to work an ensemble with it, as it conveys as a starting line of your ootd.<br />

After a long week of being at work or school to some, weekends are our outlet for a few days of R&R. Beach trips, shopping galore, bar hopping, picnics, stay-cations and road trips. Among the few things I have mentioned, road trips are prolly my favorite. I enjoy long drives. Sharing story with your loved ones, listening to your favorite playlist, sight seeing along the road and the most exciting part, spontaneous stop-overs are the real deal when it comes to road trips.<br />
<br />
And for weekend trips to push through, preparedness is the key. Besides from the basic necessities we need (e.g. food, toiletries, first aid & emergency kit and clothing) I specifically have four (4) essential things I always bring with me whenever we hit the road.<br />
<br />
First, is a camera. I'm such a sentimental person so the memories alone are not enough for me to keep, I need hard copy evidences of such mushy moments I share with my loved ones. I always keep with me this handy dslr of mine.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOalSiqjNMHYdhU8e02CiSUDPwxI_FV0hEVsb_BECViK3t0JtU7gVF3Y9p8IlcPyEYH_ucinl4UgLNNt8INliOifncaxfBl7Dj35bZkVUKQm7t3U9xl43G08IuwGDnD916J6i1Sy2zFGg/s1600/camera.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="385" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiOalSiqjNMHYdhU8e02CiSUDPwxI_FV0hEVsb_BECViK3t0JtU7gVF3Y9p8IlcPyEYH_ucinl4UgLNNt8INliOifncaxfBl7Dj35bZkVUKQm7t3U9xl43G08IuwGDnD916J6i1Sy2zFGg/s400/camera.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
<br />
Second, is a bottled drinking water. We need to be hydrated at all times especially with the hot summer weather or just by surviving not to starve to death in the middle of nowhere. For eco-friendly purposes, I have my own kitty water bottle container so I will just have to refill it every time I'd be allowed and able to.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqjCJ4ccKsG-ltlr1cKlBoKvnR_3OjKCwS6QwxYBhoarlJ-5UqiG4Tj9Uqwp6ho7MsmJSO6nck2Rmfa1sP8w733tL6OyY2X1j7lEOwtCx8QC0_v1o02tdhttTwgGT-bCtbLwihf3ojX7g/s1600/11924768_10204826739893297_2123835800_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhqjCJ4ccKsG-ltlr1cKlBoKvnR_3OjKCwS6QwxYBhoarlJ-5UqiG4Tj9Uqwp6ho7MsmJSO6nck2Rmfa1sP8w733tL6OyY2X1j7lEOwtCx8QC0_v1o02tdhttTwgGT-bCtbLwihf3ojX7g/s400/11924768_10204826739893297_2123835800_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div style="text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<br />
Third, is a wallet with cold hard cash and an emergency credit or debit cards when you run out of. You simply just can't leave the house without it, what more on a road trip when you'll need it for the gas money, food, other expenses and even to go and pee on a well maintained private comfort room.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6c5dZnX946TMrWm2ipNYgE-q2WhJHeDc1p-J3xgJEsGXnM3ViqQzXMPlz0AvGv0r4Ms5uP4vtmTz-U8-nQJ6rE8pCRrEarbIjrQYyTqa-4QCVlzVUy_jLIVru2RFqEejaxEJr4SoSrKE/s1600/11950884_10204826694412160_1669819625_n.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6c5dZnX946TMrWm2ipNYgE-q2WhJHeDc1p-J3xgJEsGXnM3ViqQzXMPlz0AvGv0r4Ms5uP4vtmTz-U8-nQJ6rE8pCRrEarbIjrQYyTqa-4QCVlzVUy_jLIVru2RFqEejaxEJr4SoSrKE/s400/11950884_10204826694412160_1669819625_n.jpg" width="400" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And last but definitely not the least, is a pair of <a href="http://www.saltcityoptics.com/all/prescription-sunglasses.html" target="_blank">prescription sunglasses</a>. I actually have three pairs, one kept inside the car, another one inside my bag and the third one kept in my drawer at home whenever I feel the need to use it instead of the second one in my bag or the first one inside the car. These are really important for our eyes to be protected at all times, considering we get long drive trips mostly on summer days when the sun is scorching hot.<br />
<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjos-fS8VGEXjwoUsajuH8Z_NWqaCjsZ2nukLvP8ZWTl2_7MhpY-Jq1z2HmpRWWlXWxdYo2qj5dMJPcJ3TFkiZPjILRWIBboEqXhN99LXrPFyKzRIyHd9O8IRIjRx2FU770DehakJsFhW8/s1600/sunnies.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjos-fS8VGEXjwoUsajuH8Z_NWqaCjsZ2nukLvP8ZWTl2_7MhpY-Jq1z2HmpRWWlXWxdYo2qj5dMJPcJ3TFkiZPjILRWIBboEqXhN99LXrPFyKzRIyHd9O8IRIjRx2FU770DehakJsFhW8/s400/sunnies.jpg" width="398" /></a></div>
<br />
<br />
And that concludes today's post. I hope this would help road trip enthusiasts-wanna-be to survive it. We still have a few long weekends for the year making it easier to give time for a must R&R trips.<br />

Gaining new experiences, life lessons, memories to be kept and forgotten and even a person who'd take and love you deeply are just a few things I was able to get for the past year. And now that I'm nearing the silver age, I can't help but to take it all in and to think of what I can do and should do in the hopes of having my dreams and future endeavors come true. (Oh, How I love that my last line yet again rhymes, having not done it on purpose.)</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I turned twenty four, two months ago and the pressure keeps ticking on me every time. I have adapted and embraced my cramming and running around at work on busy days, my dinner nights at home with fam when I have to attend to kitchen and dish washing duties, and neglecting my time I should have given to family, friends and the love of my life that I wasted on being sick days.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Today, I realized that shopping will no longer cover this thing that I'm feeling right now. It is now time take into consideration what life offered me and use it as something that would push me beyond my limits. I do admit that lazy days still kicks in once in a while and attending to busy days neglects my whole well-being, having been sick every now and then. But seeing everyone who surrounds me taught me what to need and want in life is all fairy tale-like. It's the part when you thought you've already reached your happy ending, but there is more beyond that happy ending. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
But before we have that heart-to-heart talk on what awaits beyond our happily ever after, I now reach the point of the post of sharing to you guys what I wore on my twenty fourth birthday.<br />

<br />
As I was making this post, I also realized that I lost my February files already. Good thing I was able to save this single full body outfit picture of mine.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
We all know how the mesh in between trend has circulated in the later part of 2014. It's one of the most genius ideas I've embraced for showing some skin but not really showing actual skin at all. I got this dress last December online from <a href="https://instagram.com/ripplesbyjenny/" target="_blank">Ripples by Jenny</a>, it was too short for me. So, I layered it with this skirt in a fun print and color and secured it with a belt. As for my new pair to be abused, it's actually a fun idea how I got this. For our Christmas kringle at the office, my manita asked me what I wanted to get. I was clueless then until I saw this on <a href="https://instagram.com/bonitayeleganteph/" target="_blank">Bonita y Elegante</a>'s ig feed. I was not sure if it would fit but still gave it a try. To cut the story short, I shopped for my own Christmas kringle gift. Hahaha! Too bad I wasn't able to take a closer picture of it. But to tell you honestly, it's the prettiest floral sneaks I've seen, with pastel floral prints that surely made me want and need to get it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
Back to what awaits after the so-called happily ever after, we cannot deny the fact that every single one of us goes through ups and downs that shakes us back to reality. May it be after finding the prince charming of our dreams, reaching a certain goal you've worked hard for years, proving someone or everyone your worth in this crazy world of ours, it all has post transitions that we need to revive ourselves again in order to have that repeat happily ever after.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
All I'm saying is, being happy and contented is all we desire in life but it all varies on each one of us. It all boils down on until when would we be able to hold those dreams to become what we want to become, to follow the path in which to take, and to make decisions that may or may not be the best idea but still works for you in the end. </div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This post is quite long than my usuals. I've been really emotional a lot lately with being sick and all.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
And that concludes my blogpost for today. I hope you all enjoyed it. Don't forget to hype this look of mine on lookbook here. </div>

When everything that seemed to be a fairy tale-like experience for me has suddenly come to a halt. It was like a jeepney ride that when the driver have picked up his speed, a passenger have decided to say "Para!" and the driver have stepped on the breaks for the trip to stop. It was like a dream that when the story have come to the climax someone decided to wake you up, completely getting your thoughts lost when you wake up. It was like a Woody's Round Up final episode that when Buzz Lightyear was launched the producers decided not to finish it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
When people took away things from you without a warning, all you'd want to do is just sulk in a corner when you end up realizing you could have done better and makes you think too that no matter what you do it was all too late now.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
This year was supposedly my year but I just hung on to that thought but never did made a huge effort to make things right when it all got out of my control. I've been through a lot of disappointments, consumed energy to cry a river, bruised and hurt by the pain that will scar me for a lifetime but this one was way different. It have risen to a whole new level that only one person could cure and wash it all away.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
I took a few days break from work to pick myself up and gather my thoughts to celebrate a special day of my niece. We traveled all the way to The City of Pines for it and it was all worth it.</div>
<div style="text-align: justify;">
<br /></div>

Superhero was the theme for the party. Kids were required to attend in their superhero costumes. My siblings agreed on wearing a superhero shirt. I couldn't think of a better superhero than myself. So, I dressed up as myself with an off-shoulder top and a pair of boyfriend jeans. Yes. Another shoulder baring top on a cold and rainy Baguio weather. </div>

We were in a hurry to the venue when I had these pictures taken that's why I haven't got that many choices. Like in life in general, you're blessed if you had more than two choices in every aspect. Anyway, I'm leaving you guys with pictures I've managed to take. It was nice to act as a kid again getting all giddy with the party treats, sharing memories to keep with your family and a few hours of temporarily taking myself away from all the pain.</div>
